I was trying to make a DTM for a dropping function and for some reason my DTM editor wouldn't save or open dtm's, and if I closed and tried to open it again I got this error

What's wrong with my Simba?

Are you sure you're using the latest Simba + Extensions? (The ones in Simba Installer 0.91 are recent enough)

I just manually re-installed Simba and my extensions I'll test it tomorrow.

Well I didn't get the error after making one, but they still don't save, and I can't open ones I've made (I click open and nothing happens)

That's because that's not implemented yet, extensions still needs wrappers for file handling I think.

Oh, I can still use the editor then from what I see.

So case Solved ;)

We don't have the file procedures normal script have but Niels can prob just use TFileStream.

TSaveDialog, tFileStream example.
program new;

function SaveDialog(Data: string): boolean;
var
fmCustom: Word;
begin
Result := False;
fmCustom := fmCreate;
try
with TSaveDialog.Create(nil) do
begin
try
Title := 'Save Dialog';
Options := [ofOverwritePrompt];
InitialDir := IncludePath + 'msi\';
Filter := 'Text File (*.txt)|*.txt|All Files (*.*)|*.*';
FilterIndex := 1;
DefaultExt := 'txt';
if (Execute) then
begin
if (FileExists(FileName)) then
fmCustom := fmOpenWrite;

with TFileStream.Create(FileName, fmCustom) do
begin
try
if (Write(Data, SizeOf(Data)) > 0) then
begin
Result := True;
WriteLn('Sucessfully saved: ' + FileName);
end;
finally
Free;
end;
end;
end;
finally
Free;
end;
end;
except
WriteLn(ExceptionToString(ExceptionType, ExceptionParam));
end;
end;

procedure init;
begin
SaveDialog('bleh?')
end;

begin
end.

AFAIK this is fixed in 0.96.
