From now on, you can post your progress reports in

You can attach a name to the progress report like this:

This is my progress report!
For scripters I have added the Simba highlighter (
or
):

{Syntax highlighter text}
(*This comment didn't work before?*)
procedure Test(a: Integer);
begin
n:= 10 + $FF + Round(13.5);
Caption:= 'Hello' + #13;
Test.Hello := 'world';
end;

I have also updated the SCAR tags, fixed the bug with "[" and "]" in several highlighters and added both the Simba and SCAR highlighters to the editor menu ( and ).

Thanks :)

I like this, but I still think proggies look cuter with PHP tags.

For Simba tags, the (, ), :, ;, =, +, etc. should be red.

I know, but it looks like our version of GeSHi doesn't support symbols yet.

So what does adding your name do to the report tags? There didn't seem to be any visual difference

Seriously? You see no difference from this:

FISH: 0
CRAB: 0
OTIS: 2

And this:
FISH: 0
CRAB: 0
OTIS: 2

(Hint: it says, in bold text, who the progress report is originated from.)

Copy that post that you just quoted into notepad then save it onto a thumb drive. Once you are done, go to walmart and plug in your thumb drive on a computer. Next, open the file you saved in notepad. Now, search for "EvilChicken!", without the quotes. You'll notice that there are two instances of "EvilChicken!". Now investigate the second one.

(edit: I just noticed that it has to do with my 1337 vertical postbar, so it's probably a bug in the code)

That's what it looks like for me.

What browsers do you guys use?

Edit: Ah, that could be it, Markus :) I'll take a look.

Edit #2: Should work now :)

E: Oh, I just actually read the rest of the thread.
Whoa, should've posted a screenie.

What was causing this, Niels?

Probably a HTML tag wish didn't get properly closed, nothing to worry about lol :)

I've been waiting for the simba tags, nice :D

VBulletin works with templates and because I added a new one, I had to add them to all the styles. I added this feature later on and forgot to edit the templates of the other styles. That's why the people with an other style than "Satellite -" didn't see it correctly :)

You call a bump spam? Coh3n's thing is still something that would be nice to have.

this!
I find myself using SCAR tags for my simba code simply because it's monospaced, and Simba tags aren't

just wondering if you could make it so whenever someone posts, if declareplayers is found it removes the username, pass, nick, etc

can this be done?

Wizzup?

2010-10-26 05:47:40

Possibly something with the badwords filter. But it's probably rather tedious.

Bonfield

2010-10-28 05:42:34

Yeah I thought it would be, but it would save peoples accounts not that it's a real issue compared to a few years ago

would you ever consider SRL loading players from an ini or external script somewhat similar to an include?

nielsie95

2010-10-28 05:50:32

We used to have the SRL PlayerForm which did just that ;)

Bonfield

2010-10-28 06:57:20

Yeah but iirc I dont think it works anymore, I could be wrong though

Dan Cardin

i thought that a thought about feature for the script manager would include something of the sort.
