I think you can have it locked i think =/

You can change the password and not log back in. You should have no legitimate reason to delete it. Deleting an account results in orphan posts, making the posts ugly for viewing.

Anything else is null and probably won't be done.

Admins here do not delete accounts under any circumstances. You may request a ban but not a deletion. Only one account was deleted I believe and that was a very long time ago..forgot what the name was though.

Yeah, that was who I was referring to :p. I just couldn't find the banned users forum…perhaps they merged it with the BBQ pit..anyways. On topic.

Your account will not be deleted Zeke1901, just don't log in…if you can't do that then you probably don't want to delete your account ;). Changing your password or requesting a ban is the only other possible alternatives.

It is possible to delete an account. This does however cause inconsistencies in the user database we should avoid, so without me going all nuts…….not a chance!

And no you cannot delete an account for obvious reasons :)

Maybe his AIM or some common username is the same as it is on these forums and someone googled and chastized him for being a 'geek' who not only plays 'one of those online rpgs' but also 'cheats'. lol this is what I was afraid of when I was younger, hence my username is really short and easy.

I was so different back then. :P :)

If the above is true, just have the username renamed to someone similar yet different. One of my ex's stalked me once on the ubuntuforums… it was really weird and I had to request my username be renamed because they didn't allow deletion of accounts.

Even if you have the same forum name as your rs account name Jagex can't prove that you've broken any rules so they techically aren't allowed to ban you.

They can technically do anything they want. You never buy the account. It's not REALLY yours. They can ip ban you if they want.

And they don't have to be fair.

Well of course they can do what they want but you haven't broken any of their rules (that they know of).

duh :p it would be crazy if there is such a rule. I would use the username zezima on every cheating community. probably that already happened.
