Well I'm thinking about going into massive botting again but I'm experiencing some problems with runescape.
When I'm either playing or botting runescape it's lagging and has a response time from 1-2 seconds. It's really annoying because it's messing up scripts… It also doesn't make sense since I can remember that I was playing runescape 1 year ago on maxed full screen quality with no problems at all. Now it can't even handle the lowest possible quality?
My connection is quite bad but the funny thing is, that I can watch a youtube/south park video while the bot is on with no pause time (and for that I usually need my full connection). It seems like runescape is only allowed to get 1/10 of the full connection available. If you have any idea what's going on please help :)

I think I'm experiencing the same thing as you, especially regarding the response time. But for me it's only a problem during a few seconds after player login, when the character doesn't respond to any input for maybe five-seven seconds tops – and then it's all fine.
If I were you, I would've went into the settings screen of the RS client and disabled any graphical enhancement settings that weren't already disabled, and allow the game to use a high percentage of your CPU resources.
Hope it eventually works out for you too. :)

Well it could be that ur using the wrong loops, that might lag u too,
i had the same problem as u these are ur options:
1. Ur loops aren't good like ur repeats, ur while do or for to do u should check those
2. Ur internet download limit is almost come to an end u should check that

Ahh, thats wierd, on my moms old desktop computer [520 mb RAM] and on AOL [download speeds of 4-6kb/s] Runescape ran pretty decently for me.

Are you having FPS problems or latency problems?

I checked my runescape setting and everything was at lowest and the cpu usage at highest. I have 4Gb RAM and my download speed is 1Mbit/s :( (still waiting for the optic internet)
The problem is also not in my loops because I'm using one of the best scripts here at the moment with which people are getting very long progress reports. I also don't have any download limit. I pay like 20€/month for the internet and TV. Damn this is really strange :p
Edit: What are latency problems :p? Al tho I think these are FPS problems because of the response time, but it never losses connection.

Latency is pretty much lag. Kinda like a responce time. If you get constant spikes with your internet as well as delayed movements in most CPU games, chances are your internet is playing games with you, but for runescape =/ weird, runescape should almost run perfectly on any normal computer… try [just to try it] taking off your firewall / antivirus for a little while and try to play it again.

It seems to be running quite normal for the last 4 hours with no changes made. I'll keep track of it for the next few days to see if it'll repeat. Thanks for all the comments :)

For me it depends on what server I use. If I try to use an AUS or German server then I get lag. So I just stick with the RS and US ones.

Run some ping tests on the runescape servers maybe.
Whos your ISP?

I used to have really smooth FPS before they decided to jump in and make all those damn graphical "enhancements". Safe Mode is just not the same…
