i'm just wondering if i could somehow hook my laptop up to my xbox to record the gameplay using some sort of software, or maby even using my laptop's dvd burner or something like that :)

theres no way i'm using dazzle, it's out of the question :)

Umm, there is no way, AFAIK, I used to use a Dazzle, i then upgraded to a HD PVR.
What is wrong with a dazzle?
