Headless Arrow Maker

I know the guy asked for something similar, but I want an even more basic version.

ALL I want is for it to attach an unlimited amount of shafts to feathers.

No banking, no moving, no GE… just use item 1 with item 2, make 10. Over and over. That's it

*edit* No SMART use either. I am an idiot and can't figure out how to get that out of other scripts without messing it up… so please don't put that in lol.

If you think you can help me, that would be wonderful. :spot:

Also, there is no need for random protections, mod find, anti ban… none of that is necessary.

Just uber basic.

Wrote this in the reply box but it should still work:

It is as simple as they come really. it will just sit there and keep combining slot two with slot one. Checks for randoms and repeats. You might need to adjust the wait time in the main line a bit depending on how you like your speeds.

program new;
{$i SRL/SRL.scar}

const
HowMuch = 500; //how many arrow heads

var
RAmount : integer;

procedure Combine;
begin
InvMouse(2, 1);
wait(350+random(200));
InvMouse(1, 1)
RAmount := RAmount + 1;
end;

begin
SetupSRL;
RAmount:= 0;
repeat
Combine;
wait(30+random(25))
findnormalrandoms;
wait(300+random(250))
until(RAmount >= HowMuch)
end.

That seems to just click my backpack a bunch of times.

I am trying to do this using the rs client too btw. I don't think that makes a difference, but maybe it does.

Ok, I made some changes (look at me using the search button and learning some stuff!!), but now I see 1 more issue.

It uses inv slot 1 with slot 2, BUT it does not click make 10. I still need it to make 10.

I am making headless arrows. You click feathers, attach to shafts, then a window in chat box offers "make 1, make 5, or make 10."

Can you implement the part where it can do "make 10?"

Thanks for your help so far!

procedure MouseBoxEx(x1, y1, x2, y2: Integer; Dist,ClickType: Integer);

function ChooseOption(txt: String): Boolean;

would be an easy solution to that

program new;
{$i SRL/SRL.scar}

const
HowMuch = 500; //how many arrow heads

var
RAmount : integer;

procedure Combine;
begin
InvMouse(2, 1);
wait(350+random(200));
InvMouse(1, 1)
wait(350+random(250));
MouseBoxEx(x1, y1, x2, y2, Dist, 2 ); // needs to be filled out. x1, y1 = top corner of "box" for selection of the making options. x2, y2 = bottom corner of "box"

{*******************************************************************************
procedure MouseBoxEx(x1, y1, x2, y2: Integer; Dist,ClickType: Integer);
By: Raymond
Description: Does mouse stuff (ClickType), and uses a point that is within Dist from
the closest point between mouse and the box.
*******************************************************************************}
wait(350+random(250))
ChooseOption(txt: String) // needs to be filled out

{********************************************************v***********************
function ChooseOption(txt: String): Boolean;
By: Wizzup?
Description: Finds an option in a popup menu, then clicks on it.
******************************************************************************

RAmount := RAmount + 10;
end;

begin
SetupSRL;
RAmount:= 0;
repeat
Combine;
wait(30+random(25))
findnormalrandoms;
wait(300+random(250))
until(RAmount >= HowMuch)
end.

What Bebe said. I'll also have such a script working by the end of the day, just check my signature. :)

I have pmed Bebe (TY for working with me thus far) and I will continue trying to play with what he said.

I am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff though, so treat me like a baby when talking to me about this stuff.

I used scar back in the early 2000's but then stopped and am just now trying again.

I will also keep an eye out for yours, but I prefer to not have to use SMART. In all the scripts, I can't seem to figure out how to get them to successfully work in regular RS client.

Okay I decided to break it down a little simpler because what you told me via PM.

Okay so we start out with the basic script that I posted earlier:
program new;
{$i SRL/SRL.scar}

const
HowMuch = 500; //how many arrow heads

var
RAmount : integer;

procedure Combine;
begin
InvMouse(2, 1);
wait(350+random(200));
InvMouse(1, 1)
wait(350+random(250));
MouseBoxEx(x1, y1, x2, y2, Dist, 2 ); // needs to be filled out. x1, y1 = top corner of "box" for selection of the making options. x2, y2 = bottom corner of "box"

{*******************************************************************************
procedure MouseBoxEx(x1, y1, x2, y2: Integer; Dist,ClickType: Integer);
By: Raymond
Description: Does mouse stuff (ClickType), and uses a point that is within Dist from
the closest point between mouse and the box.
*******************************************************************************}
wait(350+random(250))
ChooseOption(txt: String) // needs to be filled out

{********************************************************v***********************
function ChooseOption(txt: String): Boolean;
By: Wizzup?
Description: Finds an option in a popup menu, then clicks on it.
******************************************************************************}

RAmount := RAmount + 10;
end;

begin
SetupSRL;
RAmount:= 0;
repeat
Combine;
wait(30+random(25))
findnormalrandoms;
wait(300+random(250))
until(RAmount >= HowMuch)
end.

Okay, so to get the coordinates that we need for the "Mousebox" (Just an imaginary box that creates a pseudo-boundary for where the mouse can travel within).

Key:
Red box - The pseudo-boundary for where the mouse can travel within
Black Arrow - x1, y1
Orange Arrow - x2, y2

Okay so then you can fill in "procedure MouseBoxEx(x1, y1, x2, y2: Integer; Dist,ClickType: Integer);"
with the following:
MouseBoxEx(235, 390, 283, 427, Dist, 2 );

'Dist' may confuse you a bit but don't let it, simply play with numbers between 1-50 and see what works good for you.

function ChooseOption(txt: String): Boolean; should be self explanatory.

So to throw it all together:
program new;
{$i SRL/SRL.scar}

const
HowMuch = 500; //how many arrow heads

var
RAmount : integer;

procedure Combine;
begin
InvMouse(2, 1);
wait(350+random(200));
InvMouse(1, 1)
wait(350+random(250));
MouseBoxEx(235, 390, 283, 427, 30, 2 );
wait(350+random(250))
ChooseOption('make 10')
RAmount := RAmount + 10;
end;

begin
SetupSRL;
RAmount:= 0;
repeat
Combine;
wait(30+random(25))
findnormalrandoms;
wait(300+random(250))
until(RAmount >= HowMuch)
end.

Very simple, very basic.

edit: I realize that I am combining arrow heads with headless arrows in the picture but the cords and everything are the same for making headless arrows (arrow shafts + feathers). Also why do you check out the tutorial section ;)

Mister Snow

2010-08-02 17:57:07

Ok thanks for explaining that. Now I run into this error:

[Error] (17:33): Unknown identifier 'Dist' at line 16
Compiling failed.

Only thing I have changed is the actual box coordinates. Didn't touch distance.

Here is what line 16 looks like:

MouseBoxEx(244, 399, 269, 420, Dist, 2 ); // needs to be filled out. x1, y1 = top corner of "box" for selection of the making options. x2, y2 = bottom corn

Bebe

'dist' is a variable that you have to define (assign a value)…

ooh weird… I swear I copied the one you had just posted, guess not or I would have seen that you didn't keep dist there.

See? I am an idiot at this… lmao. Ok I will try it now.

Mister Snow

2010-08-02 18:18:08

Alright, did what you said. It now right clicks in the box right, but it still isn't clicking "make 10."

It just kinda goes off to the right.

EDIT:

NVM. Capitalize that "m" in Make 10 and it works.

;) Thanks!

Now I just need to adjust times. VERY Thankful!!!

Bebe

2010-08-02 18:21:43

You're welcome. Yeah I just made the wait times up off the top of my head. I wouldn't recommend running this script for long periods of time as it is just a basic barebones script. I wouldn't walk away or leave it unattended very long either.

Also I would recommend checking out the tutorial section

I don't plan on walking away from this script, but could you explain why else I should not run it for a while?

Also can you explain why I still can't seem to get it to work in regular rs client? Works fine in the SMART client, but it keeps wanting to click on my packpack on the rs client.

It is almost like it treats backpack as inv spot 1 and worn items as spot 2?

  1. Basic script, very repetitive
  2. basic randoms check
  3. no anti-ban procedures included, only random mouse

SRL is geared towards SMART now because it has become the standard. Must be something within SRL. I'm not too sure about this :redface:

Alright. Well very repetitive, but is it obvious it is not me? Do I need antiban procedures if I am actually sitting there, sell stuff on GE, maybe talk… every now and then? I wouldn't fletch for more than 30-1 hr strait b4 doing something else.

Bebe

2010-08-02 18:46:58

You should be safe if you don't exceed an hour. Do something else. wait a bit and come back. I make no guarantee about that script though because as I said, it's super basic.

Antiban is used to make it look more like a human interacting with the client and not simba/srl. Jagex can detect and track mouse movement.

Because IIRC, the client changes handles and therefore screws up the focus of SCAR/Simba. SMART maintains the same handle constantly, so SCAR/Simba don't lose focus and less script screw-ups.
