Wow, short. :p
But then again, I guess an alcher doesn't have to be 1k+ lines long either.
Most noticeable thing I can come to think of commenting, is that I'd rather use
with statements in Declareplayers, so one only would have to change a single number for each player. Like this:
procedure DeclarePlayers;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer := 0;
with Players[0] do
begin
Name := '';
Pass := '';
Nick := '';
Active := True;
Integers[0] := 1000; // Items to alch
Integers[1] := 5; // Items' slot. recommended is 5 for low alch and 15 for high alch
Integers[2] := 2000 + Random(1000); // Time to wait after spell is casted. Use less time for low alch and more for high alch
Booleans[0] := False; // True to high alchemy, False to low alchemy
end;
// Players[1], Players[2], Ect..
end;
Oh, and you also say that it should have no problem on SCAR. I'm not sure if SCAR supports "
$i" as an include command.
Why being able to set
Players.Integers[2] manually for each player? If I were you, I'd rather base the times on constants based on
Players.Booleans[0].
And one last thing, some sort of progress report would be nice. Just use Reports.scar in the /misc/ folder, will make a neat proggy with minimal effort. :)
I have no idea why I just wrote that.. But hey, you wanted feedback, no?
