TO DO: TItem Records - Ores

Okay guys, quick, easy, (dirty), simple post.

We need TItem Records for the ores. Here's an example:
ORE_COPPER:
with MSI_Items[whichItem] do
begin
Name := 'Copper ore';
UpText := ['opper'];
ItemP := Point(0, 0);
Colors := [3762874];
Tol := 3;
Stackable := False;
DTM := MSI_LoadDTM(whichItem);
end;
We are missing:
 • Clay
 • Silver
 • Gold
 • Coal
 • Mith
 • Addy
 • Rune

Feel free to go ahead and do a couple of them :)

You only need to change a couple of things:
ORE_COPPER: // this
with MSI_Items[whichItem] do
begin
Name := 'Copper ore'; //this
UpText := ['opper']; // this
ItemP := Point(0, 0);
Colors := [3762874]; // this
Tol := 3; //this
Stackable := False;
DTM := MSI_LoadDTM(whichItem);
end;
That's it, Name, Text, Color & Tol!

Whoever is kind enough to take the time to do these, please use ACA to get the color and tolerance.

Thank you :)

If someone showed me how, I'd do it. I always get abnormally high tolerances and I know it's not right. It's held me back in the fishing.scar parts too. I'd gladly do mining and fishing ones if someone gave a quick explanation.

You just pick a couple similar colour on the item. You wouldn't pick, say, blue and red, you would pick blue and light blue.

Exactly what Coh3n said. The only reason the tolerance goes high is if you pick colors that are so different from each other that it would require such a high tolerance to find them both.

So, the more similar the colors are that you pick, the smaller the tolerance :)

Yeah, I was trying for shrimp, picking a couple colours that looked close in colour and the tol was still 15, so I'll give it a shot with the fishing stuff and report back to ya :P

but why not just pick one color, reload the client and pick again, then repeat something like 10-20 times?

You could easily make a script to create these… just have it reload smart, login, and have the item slots specified.

Doesn't much matter how you go about it. As long as you use ACA and it work's, I wont complain ;)

We also need Object records for the rest of the rocks.

Explain that a little? I'm quite sure I know what you mean, but just to be safe.

Also, you used ACA correct?

and thank you ;)

Basically, i came up with two colors, one uses a much larger tolerance, but picks up most of the item. the other picks up less, with a lower tolerance. i went with the lower one.
Yes, i did you ACA.

No problem, someones gotta do it, and i figured i might as well contribute while i waited for something brilliant to happen :P

Meanwhile, I'm digging up an old script, which, needs updating. And individually, pretty much everything works great, but put it all together, it just… fails.
Basically, I've got plenty of time and not too much to do. lol
