while im following the tutorial of Coh3n again i've installed Simba as u can read in the title.

i tried to make a bitmap and a dtm to see which works better.

while im using bitmap i get codes from 10 lines long (which i didn't get on scar)

while im using dtm editor i get strange codes like this:

mbQAAAHicY2VgYOAFYg4oLQyleYBYFIpFgJgRiENseBgEoPLcQMwOEsQCGLFgMAAAZG8BZA==

that doesn't seem normal, 1. it doesn't work at all (can't find it) and 2. it doesn't include dtm := DTMFromString('etc');

maybe any improvements or help?

It should work fine…? I haven't heard anyone else complain about it.

I got the same thing when I tried last night. When you hit "Print DTM", it doesn't print like:

DTM := DTMFromString('78DA63D4636660E862644006168A920CFF813' +
'448F43F10305A00D54C4055C3C0C0C4C00C5503028C7244A8D106' +
'F2A61350630DE475106157177E350020060A06');
Like it used to, it just prints the long line of characters like Yush posted.

Yush, for the bitmap, it's long because you probably made it too big. Try making it like 4x4 pixels.

I have always had this problem, I just never reported it for some reason :/

because of the problem I always used scar for DTMs

but bitmaps work fine for me

The DTM's are confirmed to work. Yush just tested it with a diff tolerance and it loaded fine and found the dtm (obviously)
But yeah, it should probably pre pend dtm := DTMFromString('bla');

I never seemed to have bothered to add the dtm := DTMFromString( );, but owell, at least it workd which means that it is a small quick edit

I know this is bit of a gravedig but whenever I open up the DTM editor Simba crashes. A window pops up with this error…

Acces Violation.

Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.

No matter what I press, Simba stops responding.

Are you using the latest Simba? (Installer 0.91)

Yes I am, I even redownloaded it, made sure everything was up to date but I still get it. It happens 1 out of 2 times I try it.

Then you probably have 0.9 and not 0.91. :)

if you get the same as me then, the first time you open the dtm editor it works fine, but if you close it then open it again then it crashes
