Best Forum Software/Code
- my friends and I used to have our own offtopic board for a while but I closed it down but I am reopening it and I was wondering what the best forum software/code is. Like list a few.
-host? Looking for something where I would be able to discuss torrents and not get nailed for it

phpBB is good. If it were not that hard to switch from vBulletin to phpBB we would probably be using phpBB now.

PHPbb2 is a personal favorite. :) Or whatever this forum runs on (vBulletin?)

SMF is my favorite. And also that torrent thing you would have to get more expensive offshore hosting.

IP.Board IMO looks best and very professional.
And that torrent thing… I DID NOT ( ;) ) see IP Board on a website stupid enough to post it….Sources: ThePirateBay.org and Demonoid.com

i would recommend vbulletin or phpBB
phpBB is FREE!!!
vbulletin is a comercial software, so to get it leagally you have to pay or http://lmgtfy.com/?q=vbulletin+nulled+4.0.5

yea, there are loads of free themes and mods

get phpbb3 as it is much more widely supported now

Dreamhost is expensive(unless you got in during a sale like me, $9 a year :p) but they have AWESOME customer support.

Your own. Host it yourself. Buy a cheap server like a sheevaplug / guruplug and run all your stuff on it.

then install some server os

Some ISP's are anal about that stuff.
