I like Brak's much better, I think it looks nicer, and it is 1/10th the size of the other one.
Yes, I know they are both small, but with some of the huge avvys and all the cups, many of the threads I open take a while to load up….smaller footprint the better imo.

im just not sure that i like how the current one only has 3 frames so it looks broken up

I think its nice, but i also don't like how few frames it has. A bit choppy.
My two cents.

The cups dont have a consistent design. This one is pixel arty, none of the others are. but becasue its pixel artish, its 2d and like…yoda, the cat, and the money one are 2d. The helper cup and the tester cup look like pictures that were cropped, the useful poster look vector artish, and the rest are miscellaneous.

Not to say that i dont like this one, i just dislike that it has so few frames and looks choppy. but DansTheMan's is a bit too big.

meh I think it looks quite nice, regardless if it's choppy or not. Hell it's just a cup anyways, it's not like it's an overly big deal for what it looks like, more for what it represents.

I would be quite interested to see how it would look like with more frames. I love it as it is, I find it really stands out for something, although I would be interested to see more frames. But I also think that going overboard on the art is giving it more importance than it is due. As Blumblebee said, it's what it stands for, not what it looks like.

I were just randomly browsing the old MSI threads and found this one, and I'd like to come up with a suggestion; MSI Devs could have the 3D one with flames, instead of the current one, so people can see that they're MSI Devs? I think it would look really cool, and both SRL and Reflection has a cup specially for the developers

I also think the 3D glowing one shows more knowledge and is more 'calm' if you know what I mean lol

I'm not against it by any means, but I recall a few select people 'complaining' about thing's like this with MSI so I was just trying to prevent that, more or less.
