SRL Archive - Revisions / Releases

Simba version 701 is the latest Stable build. (by Raymond, until he returns)

Version 702 is built by me in QEMU, so hopefully there are no differences / problems with different compilers.
It is bundled with
Simba Installer RC1
Simba Installer RC2
Simba Installer RC3
Simba Installer RC4


702 incorporates several fixes and tweaks:

• API Calls -> Setting.
• Not always show tray icon -> Setting.
• Fixes for SRL Updater & Reflection Updater. (You need the latest srl.sex / reflection.sex; these are included in the installer and also in git)
• ColourHistory change; added a setting.
• ExtensionManager not resizeable.
• Other random features.

Because 702 is not yet marked stable, it resides in the Unstable/ folder. Simba will never downgrade, so it is not an issue for people using the Simba installer.

I hope I did the the entire process correctly. Perhaps I messed some stuff up in the Installer / 702, so I hope you guys (and girls) will give it a try (especially the Installer); once this is confirmed stable we will release Simba to the public. If there are some serious bugs, I'll make a Simba RC5 installer.

E: Uploaded 703; which is to replace 702.
E: There will probably be another release candidate soon; but I don't think there will be a new Simba. I bumped 703 to stable and would love to hear your thoughts on it. Remember that I compiled it this time, so I'd really like you guys to run a script on it tonight and see what happens. (Preferably ones that worked stable in 701)
E: Uploaded RC4 which contains fixes for security.sex + srl.sex.

Wizzup, the security Extension funny title issue was fixed. It'll work now as I intended. If others want to fix it, by all means.. they can.

Anyways, i've also noticed that replace doesn't work that well, for example if you try to replace a few of them(not all at once), the first one never gets replaced.

Ahhh, this is really good. Im loving the extensions that telll you if SRL or Reflection is outdated. Extremely usefull and easy!

Also so far no problems with the installer, seems good!

EDIT* How come it doesnt download the SMART plugins when you ask to download SRL?

Uploaded RC2. Myles, please review the SRL/Reflection updater changes. I did it slightly different I think, but it should be fixed now.
Security extension has been added to RC2, but I think it needs a bit more work.

No. This is bugging me as well; but the release was focussed on Windows ATM.
It should work ok in wine.

The only issues I really want to look into now are ones with the extensions. Everything else can be updated. (SRL/Plugins/Reflection/Fonts/Simba itself)

reflection.sex didn't come with the installer.

Nvm, it just hadn't shown up the first time around. Activated the SRL, Ref and Associate extensions. Loving it.

Ahh there are no plugins for me to move. Theres no new folder with new plugins in the entire simba folder =/, also the RC3 Installer i believe took care of all the plugins i needed so far. At least thats what i think.

Thanks bro, going to try it now. I just put the Libsmart.dll from that into the plugins folder right?
