i have just tried it with the fishing and achievement diary symbol
they also both seem to be static
maybe all the symbols are now static, which if they are, then that means that it has become easier for us, no more autocoloring for the symbol colors

What about the gray part? The combination is more useful that just one of the colors (Oh look, someone with gilded armor! Can you bank my stuff for me?).

I don't see why jagex would revert to static. I also don't see why we should give up the methods we've already developed.
I'd rather know it won't break at jagex's will than save myself a couple ms.
But cool find ;)

If this is the case, why not just have autocolor as a back up?

well this is what i came up with about 5 days ago, it works perfectly at the mo
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57890and if it works perfectly for several months then it will provide a faster symbol finding and the whole symbol doesnt have to be visable

Just have a static color variable, and when it can't find it try autocoloring it.

Perhaps Jagex decided SRL is dead? I mean has anyone else even checked since the RuneTek 5 update? Maybe since then all colors have been static… Jagex has been going after RSBot.org and kBot…
Maybe they really think SCAR is dead. I think that is the only reason they made dynamic colors in the past :o …
Or maybe they just realized that dynamic colors did nothing, people still found ways around it easily, so they just gave up… less colors loaded = less system usage on their end, right?
