my faveorite type of wood is iron wood. its literally iron, in the form of wood :p i found out about it when i say a peice on the side of the road one day, and when i tried to break it, i just couldnt, although i literally put a saw, a hammer, and my feet to try to break it. so instead i just tried to carve it/sand to make it into the perfect club, and i do have to say i did a fine job :)

on one side, theres a curve that fits perfectly around someones face, for optimal spread of pain, and on one side has a nice pointy, point(:p), for maximum force on the smallest amount of space(which chipped concrete, btw). it also is pretty light, and evenly weighted, along with a really nice grip for the hand. i just <3 it

picture:
i know this is random, but whats your favorite piece/type of wood evar? :)

There's this thing in canada called Root beer, and it's made from pine trees. it is INCREDIBLY GOOD, thus I will vouch for pine trees.

The root beer out of Canada is actually a soft drink, not the stuff made from trees ;)

Secundo, density has nothing to do with the hardness/resistance of a material. As an example, diamond isn't particularly heavy but is extremely hard; glass is heavier than diamond and is easily breakable; finally, aerogel is the lightest material known to man and is pretty fucking tough.

lol. i wasnt thinking like scientificly hard but the strength. but anyway, iron wood is a living material right? i havnt googled it but it says 'wood'

also something had to break it >.<

EDIT: also why would it be called root beer if not made from a plant? :P
