Updater

This was something that just crossed my mind. It would be much easier (for users) if the script just updated itself.

If someone has the spare time and wants to do it, I'd say go ahead. It's not something major that needs to be done, or that will be justifiable for too long, so it's just a somewhat of a short-term project. I don't have any news of when the Script Manager is due, but after it is, the updater will become obsolete.

But until then, that updater would receive much love :p

Ask Wizzup? to make a snapshot of the MSI repository then edit the srl.sex to your needs.

oh i thought he meant a function that could be added to msi that would update it when run. using simba to update wouldn't really be much easier than updating the svn files.

This is what I meant.

But Simba does automatically update.

The script manager is practically an update manager with the small feature to install scripts.

Any point in time when you think it'll be ready?

Hm, quite some stuff is done actually. I just need to put it all together. The hardest part for me is still trying to figure out what would be the neatest way to manage scripts on the client side.
