Script Bugs.

Well Im undergoing testing with the scripts that MSI currently has.. first of all. Nice I like how simple and easy it is to add scripts and such. but one slight problem :).

GE Yews
  • It walks to the trees all sweet and all, but doesnt switch the to single Yew tree which is East of the double. Just stands there waiting for the respawn.

VE Oaks
  • Ive noticed the script keeps clicking the tree like every 5 seconds or so even the tree is still up and im still chopping :).

One question.. What if I make a script and it envolves moving around such as the GE Yews example. I would like to make some scripts with this. such as Edgeville yews but the switching trees thing i want to know the way to do it instead of making my own soultion which could be completely wrong :).

Thanks :).

This is a problem, isn't it? We haven't been able to implement the relocation feature yet, but I will be making a thread tomorrow so it will be open for discussion and this will definitely be there. ;)

Yeah, I've noticed this too, and frankly, I don't know why it happens. It seems to be only happening with Oak trees.

Works so nicely except for the oak tree bug :). Oh one more thing the power cutter cut oak trees aswell but in the proggie it shows it as it cut all normal trees.

Ive done the walking for Rhimgton Yews if you want it? (refleciton points)

Someone else was having that problem (not counting the Oaks). Do you happen to have to debug saved so I can take a look at it?

As for Rimmington Yews, post the record on the AIO Woodcutting thread. :)

Yeah, I made it in a rush, and the relocation function isn't really there yet, and the option isn't in the scripts TRecord, which I'd imagine it will be once the function is made.

I'll help create it if you would like :). You're the organization freak though, I'm the one who needs to be told what needs doing.

@BobboHobbo: I just fixed MSI_FindItemSlots (which is where I'm almost positive the DTM bugs were occurring), so let's hope now it will count the Oak logs as well.

I've fixed the bug where it would only count the first item if cutting multiple trees. :)

Just make an own function for ChopGeYews() and call that instead of ChopInvFull in Mainloop.simba?

We were discussing the different points for scripts in the relocation system thread, but wouldn't mind this also. I don't know how your object functions that well, but we'd need ChopGEYews to relocate when no tree is found.

I would rather it all came from the relocator.

Sure, I'm going to try to write some code up for this on the weekend. :)
