What would be the benefits of object oriented progs VS procedural progs in botting?
My opinion is that OOP would probably be harder to script but have way more possibilities, like reacting to ingame event when they happen (e.g. randoms) instead of looking for them every now and then.

oop is slower, I find oop easier to read and program in. multithreading is as easy as finding porn on the internet.

I'm trying to learn C++, and so far it's been far less intuitive than Pascal.

OOP isn't really slower. OOP for large program is generally quite good, but most people forget you can just as easily program OOP in say, C or Pascal. For simple things you usually don't need OOP.

OOP is great, and has its advantages.
I like using both at the same time. Python anyone? :)

Lower leveled languages tend to roll that way.
Be glad you're not learning ASM?

An event-driven system could be implemented without OOP using callbacks. Actually, that's how OOP does it, anyway…
Which I think we should add an event-drive system to Simba. For lulz. Not exactly sure how this would be an improvement, though, because scripts usually look for events by themselves atm. I think it'd be too hard to look for events using some kind of engine.
Except for maybe text-based events. Those are in a static location… Maybe you could "push" and event to Simba, and have it check it…
