Okay, so I'm guessing this is a problem with WINE, but I'd like to know exactly what could have caused this (I have attached a picture). Here's what I think may have caused it.
 • Since MSI's Debug.scar was open, saving the debug to a file may have messed something up.
 • It says that some DTM's weren't freed, but I don't think that's enough to crash the program.
 • WINE fails.
If it helps, it ended with a 19 hour report, but that shouldn't matter.

Any explanations?
The one from winehq.org. I was told the repository one is way outdated.

So 1.2-rc5? (wine –version)

I think that is a WINE issue.

You have to reinstall wine after you upgrade to 10.04.

Run:

sudo apt-get install wine1.2 -y
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y

No, he needs to add the WINE repos for 10.04. See description on their site. I doubt it will solve his problem though.

Why not install 1.2? It works great out of the box.

Its also updated regularly from the debian repos.

The one from WINE repository also works great out of the box… FYI, the debian repositories are updated only for security issues. The WINE PPA will give you the latest WINE always. I guess it's just a matter of what you want to work with. In his case however, he was using the unstable branch in 9.10.

Alright, I just did that. I never reinstalled it after I upgraded to 10.04. It apparently does say that you need to redo it right on the download page. :p

Thanks guys, we'll see if this helps.

I get this error only after running the simba installer with wine-1.2-rc7. Really annoying to close
