I think runescape updated today, with a new quest and free 7 day membership? Not really sure on this though.

You can get a membership trial but you need a cc and you need to remember to unsubscribe after 7 days or else your cc gets auto subscribed into full members.

They did exactly the same a while before.
I was that if you haven't been a Member before, you could have 7 days free if you give your CC details. Of course, the small print states that, unless you unsubscribe, they'll charge you after those 7 free days.

Does that really work? Because if it does, you can basically have your membership for free. After each 7 days, you unsubscribe, then you use another CC???

Runescape validates CCs so no. You also can only get the trial once I believe.
