Germany has had female chancellor for some time now and she's doing pretty well :) And why not? What's there to think about?

Its a meaningless change anyway. Gillard has always supported Rudd in all policies. Labor just panicked cos poll results are fast going against them.

Male, female to me doesn't matter. Whoever does the job best.
In politics, females gotta have a strong will and not be afraid. Apparently males are stronger willed and more bold as a whole, than females. Thus less females in politics. But then, in the past, males in the civilized worlds kinda drove females to be housewives… which is almost the opposite of politics. Just my thoughts.
