Just a little project of mine. This is my only time ever suiciding. I used rsbot and got 94 wcing. I paused the script every couple days and logged in on my ipod touch using an app called "CloudBrowse". It is full mozilla firefox browser for ipod and iphones. Current;y there is a time limit, but I would cut a load of trees with it. When playing over Cloudbrowse my movements looked VERY botlike. It was banned. I appealed the very same day and said I had been playing ruenscape nonstop on my ipod over an app called "cloudbrowse". Unbanned =)
Just thought I'd share my story haha

So cloud browse will be our new standard appeal?

@Awkwardsaw
No, Cloud browse connects you to a Browser on a virtual server (idk how to explain)

It's like remoting someone elses computer :)

Too bad I can't use it in Switzerland. Funny that I can use it in Germany though.

oh, so with the same basic concepts as teamveiwer?

thats a good idea :)

also, we could also possibly get away with using a touchscreen laptop as an appeal, :)

I think they might be able to test/see what kind of computer you are using. I am not sure, but it makes sense to me…

Sounds interesting that, but i am guessing once everyone starts saying this they won't be having much of it.

well, the get specs usually requires an ActiveXObject, which is IE as you know. The only thing they can guarantee getting which can be used to see if you were really using such a program on your ipod would be the useragent, although you can easily change a programs useragent to that of firefox. (iirc that's what smart does)

So what youre saying is, that there is a reason why this worked? XD
I just was looking or an excuse that would juatify playing that much and not using a recognized browser.
Fyi: im fairly certain cloudbrowse uses a vpn.
