I am trying to run just a basic smart setup script. I know I have everything set up right, but it does not want to work. I have downloaded the include several times, uninstalled and reinstalled SIMBA and SCAR several times as well.

program new;
{$DEFINE SMART}
{$i srl\srl.scar}
const
{SMART Setup}
WORLD = 32;
MEMBERS = false;
SIGNED = true;
Procedure DeclarePlayers;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1 ;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer := 0;

with players[0] do
begin
Name := '';
Pass := '';
Active := True;
Pin := '';
end;
end;
begin
Smart_Members := MEMBERS;
Smart_Server := WORLD;
Smart_Signed := SIGNED;
DeclarePlayers;
SetupSRL;
if not LoggedIn then LoginPlayer;
end.

^ That is what I am trying to run, it opens SMART but never logs in the player. After 3 minutes it times out and says that SMART isnt ready in 3 minutes and something is wrong. *Is using Windows Vista*

Must be something wrong with the includes.
Do u let simba download it automaticly?

try deleting SRL then let simba download them using srl.sex

delete the srl folder from includes
then activate srl.sex from View -> Extensions
then let it update srl itself
restart Simba and try again

I just did a completely fresh install of Simba from http://wizzup.org/simba/article/2 updated it to the most current version. I downloaded SRL via srl.sex, and ran the above script and the same exact thing happened. The SMART version that pops up is 5.3.

the reasons for the errors may be because i have simba installed in "Program Files (x86)" instead of "Program Files"

go to the Tools then settings and change the path, see if that helps, im sure it will

The default Simba location is supposed to be C:\

Still no works :(… Maybe something is up with my system? I don't know what it could be though, I can't remember anything that I downloaded or did that would make it quit working…

Edit : It "Works" but I am having the same problem as before

Edit 2 : Just tried a test run with RSBot, and it is working fine (I am not certain what could cause both RSBot and SMART to not work properly on my computer though).

You could try coping libsmart.dll/embedded_smart.dll over to the plugins folder while simba/scar is closed. I'm pretty sure I had this problem a long time ago and and even less sure that this is what fixed it. It's worth a shot.

It is using the right version of smart so does that really matter?

Uhm, shouldn't declare players be after setupSRL?

And you forgot this: Smart_SuperDetail := False;

Not really necessary, look in SetupSRL it's already set to False there.

Btw, I am having the same problem although I was out for a "long" time and I didn't really do much about this.
I hope you guys will solve it until my last exam :D.

EDIT: Yay, I just tried again with autoing runescape settings and now it works.

@sirlaughsalot: Try out RSReady after your smart loaded. Just with a simple other script, cross-hair dragged to smart, because I think you have a problem with that. So if you check it and it comes out to be false then we know what the problem is.

I uploaded the latest SMART to the Simba plugins, so with the SRL Updater it will auto update your plugins. See if it helps. :)

Shuttleu

maybe it could be something to do with ie
i think smart uses something from ie so try reinstalling it

Just run runescape normally, set all options to their lowest value, safe mode and fixed size. That always works for me.
