Also got confirmation from a local Game Station.

It's obviously real, so discuss!

Doesn't look slim at all to me. Looks almost the same size, just gloss black with an accent line… Just a rebranded console trying to suck as much money out of the video game realm as possible.

Mr. Klean if you actually read any of the other articles you'd see that there actually are some nice improvements. ;)

Eg. 4 USB ports, Kinect port, quieter, bigger air-vents

A bad thing is that the slim HDDs are different to the normal Xbox HDDs, so instead of just moving your old 'fat' HDD, you've got to transfer the data from 'fat' to slim.

I'm just glad they put wifi-n in it… about damn time. To bad I need a new laptop first, probably won't ever get this.

All it is is a mini computer with Xbox 360 software.

My friend bought a 360 elite less than a week ago, only to have this come out yesterday for less money, that and that significantly lowered the price of the elite after its release.

btw this is called the Kinetic, not "slim" ?

Lol'd at the third link. :p

Looks pretty cool, too bad I never play XBox any more. May consider it again when I move away in the fall, we'll have to see. :)

Too bad I didn't read anything about the red rings issues…

The newer XBox's were fixed for that afaik. I have a newer Arcade model and no problems. I'm guessing they made sure it won't happen again otherwise they'd lose a ton of money on warranties.

Well that's good. I've had the three red rings on my first Elite, then the hardware that read the disks broke on my second, and now I'm on my third. :p

And they were all Elite's that weren't suppose to get those problems.
