To start off…


Japan 1 Cameroon 0.

Cameroon just played terrible football. They seem very athletic and fast, but they constantly passed it to Japan and on breakaways they would kick it too far in front and lose the ball. Just technically inept.

Anyways Japan seemed content to just sit back with their one goal and let Cameroon come. Eto'o didn't do anything really all game either.

Late in the game Mbia almost tied it up with an insane shot off the crossbar, but that was the extent of their attack.

I only saw the beginning of the Paraguay Italy game. Did anyone watch it? I'm psyched Italy tied. I hate them lol.

both drogba and ronaldo had a pretty poor showing this morning to be honest..

Italy played a miserable game against Paraguay and deserved to lose their game.

The U.S actually came out pretty strong against England, keep your eyes on them.

I didn't think Italy was that bad, Paraguay was pretty good.
Also, I'd say England played pretty bad against the USA, instead of saying that US played strong.

I heard somewhere that it was because of a language barrier that he couldn't explain the foul. I saw no foul, so I have no idea though.

Actually there were 5 Slovenia guys doing faults, like 5 penaltys. It was a 'legit goal' ? i dont know how to say it, i just realized i never talkd about soccer in english lol

My point is that the goal was valid :/

Yes, apparently the French's tendency to strike when they are unhappy extends even into football :p

I watched the Switzerland Chile game earlier today and it was super frustrating. I have to say the officiating this World Cup blows. Maybe I was just too young to realize it in previous years, but it's super annoying to have the whole course of a game changed by the refs being retarded.

There are always "bad" referees. On the other hand, I've also seen a lot of good referees :)

I just meant that there have been numerous game altering calls that have just been plainly incorrect.

But I'm also really starting to get annoyed at how dramatic all the players are, because they know they can get calls. The acting is just ridiculous. I almost wish they had an instant replay system.

Italy is knocked out by Slovakia. 3 - 2 loss. They were playing good the last 10 minutes than the last 80 minutes combined. Anyways, their star goalie pinched a nerve. Good players that played before aren't even in their roster. I knew Italy was going to lose.

And what the did Italy do to the goalie after they scored a goal? Did they actually punch him?

Italy and France.. finalists last time, now last in their group.

That's what annoyed me. The commentators were saying that even if the goal had been counted, it wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome, but it would have because our team would have had much more morale, and therefore done better.

Hence, they wouldn't have had to rush to get an equalizer and leave themselves open at the back. Winning on penalties or with a calm and well worked 3rd.
