iPhone 4

Now, the things I found to be terrible are.. :

They're introducing the "never before seen" Facetime (I think), it involves video calls !!! Epic fail n°1 : it has been around for sooo looong…
They're introducing multitasking… What a bunch of faggots towards the ones who bought iPad tbh, soon I bet a new iPad with multitasking will come out cheaper so the ones who already bought it are mad (sony ericsson mobiles have had it for… 3 years ?
5 MegaPixel camera… epic fail, my W995 has 8.1 MPix and is probably alot cheaper than that monstruosity.

I have always hated apple, and I do even more now.

Pressing out your moneeeeeeeh.

Camera picture quality does not always depend on MP…
It still records 720p HD video, just like most of the 8MP Cameras (on phones) on the market..

please, stop, trolling.

Also, you could use better language.

They then should not refer to the MP specifically to be so proud, also, since when do you defend Apple ?

"better language" cousin bought the iPad, we're quite damn close.

I am quite happy with the design and hardware on the iphone this time. It's not anything new, but it certainly is at the top of what's available today (excluding no hdmi output).

Software is another story.

Tbh design is Apple's strong point.

The iPhone 4 is looking good, but that won't be long with moorestown coming out.

Yeah, it isn't too good. N900 still beats the **** out of it. It's funny by the way that Qualcomm announced their dual core processors just after the iPhone 4 spec announcement. (http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=10/06/06/0454209)

E:
Capricorn, I don't see x86 gaining market share on phones any time soon. The arch is simply way too bloated and the implementations are not efficient when it comes to power usage. It simply doesn't fit in the Embedded Market.

Sure Intel wants to spin their hardware as the best since sliced bread, but Intel is usually pretty good when it comes to advancing hardware that they show in their roadmaps.

Aava showed us its Moorestown platform which is about the size of an iPhone 3GS, but a bit narrower and thinner (although longer):

Aava’s reference platform has a 3.7” 800 x 480 OLED display (or an optional 3.8” 864 x 480 TFT display). It weighs 125g, offers 285 hours of standby battery life, 8.5 hours GSM talk time, 5.4 hours of 3G talk time and 5.2 hours of web browsing time using its 1500 mAh battery. Up to 16GB of NAND flash is supported on board.

The difference between Qualcomm and Intel using x86 is that Intel can afford to dump large amounts of money into R&D of their chips, and already have access to cutting edge manufacturing tech.

Uhm, i've owned an iphone 3g for 1 1/2 years now, and i have to say that i fell in love with it. I've tryed a nokia n95 also but i have to say that the multitouch owns the lack of a good camera. The iphone might suck the way it comes by default, but when you jailbreak it it becomes a really usefull device. I'll show a few example apps that i use that became really helpful
LogMeIn remote access software

TouchOSC (midi controler for dj software)

Encyclopedia - Offline Wikipedia
Airmouse - kind of a wireless keyboard - mouse

Well, there are also many other apps that i cant remember just now, but you'll get my point if you ever get your hands on an iphone. its really a powerfull device. Also many games take adventage of the acellerometers and the multi touch screen, and there are a lot of apps like magic tricks and stuff, they're pretty fun to use with your friends, i dont know. Just my opinion :)

I don't think its really fair to compare apps to other phones, especially when these developers develop for multi platforms to reach a larger audience.
