So I finally gave in to using Simba.
Just wondering, for DTMs, do I take the ones from SCAR directly ?

Yes, you use the DTMs made from SCAR or wait for Simba's DTM Editor.

They use the same hashing (might be wrong word) method as SCAR. So just use the string as Cazax stated.

They are not fully compatible, but simple DTMs should work. I believe the only thing that is different with SCAR is that you can set the parent of a point and in Simba there is a single mainpoint (kind of like DDTMs).

I don't think "hashing" is the correct word, as scar and simba do get the numbers from the string. Its more like crypting. In hashing you arent supposed to retrieve the value you have hashed, right? I might be wrong, but thats my opinion :)
