They were so much better then Rsbot… Really sad to see them go =|

Less bots has its advantages and disadvantages for us. Less RS presence means less attention they pay to us, but there is a tipping point between them paying a lot of attention to us and none. One less bot to worry about means more time to focus on others.

All in all, it is a shame to see a good community shut down, and it makes me sad to think that the same could happen to us.

Sucks, hate to see it go. Got me 1-99 range, 1-99 hunter, 1-99 mining, 1-84 smithing, 1-99 wc, 1-99 firemaking, 1-94 fishing, 1-99 cooking…

omg no !!! I just donated them 5 bucks 3 days ago. pretty sad…. their scripts were flawless. Runned every night 10 hour + proggy's :)

its community was going to crap. it was good when only donators had access to the bot.

I use to use Kbot a lot for power cutting, but it is very sad to see them go.

Just saw on the forums that the Kosaki on irc wasn't actually him. It was some troll trying to have a laugh. Looks like Kbot is going then.

They are not (yet) SRL. We would just be housing KBot and being shut down ourselves.

Plus couldn't they have prevented this from happening by making their project an open sauce project and putting it under a GPL license? That's what RSBot does (ben filled me in on this info).

That's because they sold VIP/Other things. If I remember correctly anyway

Yeah, that's usually it with Private Servers too, if the creators make money, they get taken down.

Legal action probably would have been some sort of law suit for infringement. Just a waste of time and money for the bot creator.

sad to see another bot go, im sure Koaski will have a trickup his sleave, just move forums change the look and feel have someone else register the domain in there name and just rename the bot lol
