I don't get it.. It always solves the random successfully, yet returns false :confused:

Any help appreciated, as I've tried to fix it >500 times.

Maybe the portal is gone?

Try and fix it >9000 times, then we will help.

Maybe let it take some screen shots here and there when it's trying to solve?

Maybe let it take some screen shots here and there when it's trying to solve?

Or when it's trying to leave as that seems to be the problem?

I don't have SRL on this laptop so I really cant give too much but it seems as though it just doesn't notice its out of the random. Again, I don't know too much on how this particular random is solved, I'm just getting antsy not being able to do many SRL related thing's lately.

The thing is that it solves perfectly, it just returns false.. :/ So everything is working inside the solver, and it should result correctly.. I've actually no clue what's causing this.. (Might be a bug in PS?)

You probably forget to set the result variable of a function to true when solved which causes it to fail.

Thanks for the insight, but that's not the problem ;).. If one just looked at the code :(

Is anybody experiencing similar bugs with SCAR?

Just an idea. I remember when I used to auto and if I wanted to see my character solve a random and see what went wrong I would input some shit into the solving procedure. For example, I would input little WriteLn's all over the place to see how far it actually got and I would make the procedure make a sound as soon as realized it was in a random. That way when it makes the sound you can run over to your computer and watch what's going on.

I don't even remember the name of the sound function, but it worked for me a couple times and got the job done in helping me get to the bottom of random problems.

The logic seems fine to me. Everything seems like it should work correctly.

Take out the 'not' in 'Result := (not Sandwich_InRandom);' in the solver on line 333 to see if it switches the result.

You're probably right. If it never writes "Sandwhich lady clicked portal," then that is I think that is the reason.

EDIT: I haven't played RS in a while, but could it be that the script simply does not find the portal, and upon logging out the player is automatically sent back?
