Life's Good

Hey guys, my summer vacation just started last week, and I'm just in a generally happy mood. Besides the fact that my 3 best friends and I will be busy with summer classes and work for most of the weekdays, it's going to be a good summer!

During my last week of school my friend's mom randomly calls me (wtf?), asks what I'm doing over summer (nothing but wasting time/summer school), and then offers me a FULL TIME job at $9/hr (Anything above minimum wage is great for teens!). So I accepted that.

Next, I decided to stop being skinny and lazy and fail and start hitting up the gym.
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56828 (Read there).
Today will be my first of many days of working out with one of my old best friends who is also back from college! :D
Believe it or not, but YoHoJo is getting SEXIER!

Work will take up from 8AM-5PM until I start summer school, with is next week, when I will do school from 8-10 and then work from 11-5.

Then twice a week I will be tutoring some kids in Algebra 2 for 1+ hours.

And then I will be going to the gym.

Sheit, my life has never been so busy with productive activities!

This only saves weekends for time with my close friends (who I rarely see since we all go to different colleges) and my gf. But I'm going to try to powerpack my weekends with fun too!

Sorry for all the blabber and shit if you don't care. I just find it interesting when some of us SRLers share bits of our personal lives , so I just wanted to inform everyone!

ROFL! I said almost EXACTLY that to my gf on the phone earlier.

Um, it's a doctors office and they are converting all of their stuff to electronic.
So I go to a filing room, pull out charts, take them to my desk area, take out important/recent papers, attach them to a cover sheet, and scan them into a computer.
Later I will be doing other things on the computer like telling the computer which scanned page is what/contains what information.
It's pretty much just monkey work, but it is work, and it's not TOO boring. Also in about a week one of my close friends will be working alongside me, and the ladies I work with are pretty chill too, so it's a nice job.

I mean I know it's California, but I'd take monkey work in a heartbeat for 9 bucks an hour. Hopefully the people you work with are chill too, that's what makes or breaks a job for me.

Nice Nice! Any summer that is productive is thee right summer.

I quit my job at an autobody shop. Just takes to much time. I'd rather play Bball and chill with my friends/gf. Still got to make up half credit for U.s history -bleh.

Im also hitting the YMCA! Have awesome equipment for working out.

Teehee goo luck!

Also forgot to mention I am taking 9 units (3 Classes over summer). A lot, I know, but ALL of my teachers got RIDICULOUSLY good ratings at ratemyprofessors and they all seem like they are going to be VERY easy As.

Work alone is a bit tiring but I'll get used to it, + gym will make me physically tired + school stuff hopefully won't be too overwhelming, but hey, that's life, and being so productive makes me feel good for once.

Edit: 2 ONLINE classes, 1 'Real' Class.

9 Units? As in hours? Summer classes are usually a bit easier then during the year. Online classes rock! You don't need to get out of bed to even go! College has somehow made me lazier….

I don't know what classes you take during the summer, but summer classes in college are usually not easier. You have to cram the same material and do the same homework/tests/exams in 4 weeks that people during the spring/fall do in 18 weeks. Definitely harder…
