I'm not a part of MSI so my opinion probably means nothing or little, but I think it's a great idea personally. Would make walking more reliable, sounds like a great idea.

MSI is Everyone, Everyone is MSI

Apologies
I've come to realize that most of you might not feel involved or even feel the right to be involved in MSI. This was not at all what I had aimed to achieve. What none of the MSI team aimed to achieve. As re-creator of the project I would like to offer everyone my biggest apologies for this mis-understanding.

Community Project
MSI, the Multiple Script Include is a community project. It's one massive script made of scripts which all share a core. As a group project it aims to have the best possible core (and features) as well as excellence in the 'individual scripts'.

About Contributing to MSI
It's easy to contribute to MSI. It really is, although the MSI team is still working hard pumping out propper documentation on all the functions, so that everyone can get a feel of MSI quicker. I would also suggest reading through our svn, here.

Alternative way to contribute to MSI
So far we have said 'oh, read the forums, there'll be lists of what needs doing'. Well, these lists are somewhat late. As the MSI team got used to working with each other, we never really made these detailed lists.
These detailed lists will be coming.

However, there is a different way you can contribute to MSI.
Here is my own personal example:
From: Rasta Magician

I'll be making a fisher, as that's the next skill I want to level up. What I'm thinking of doing it is to just write it within the MSI core, so that once I'm done MSI will have a brand new fisher and I'll be getting my fishing level up :)

From: Coh3n

So it will just be added to MSI?

From: Rasta Magician

No, my work does not just get put into MSI. I'll be posting everything so whoever wants can contribute and comment; It's just that I'll be focusing on that part ;)

And now I ask you; What script do you want? How about you make it within MSI?

Re-Organizing
After having Garrett joining the Scripting Leader we realized we had an 'information management' problem. Our team had kept track of all the details in their minds and we didn't really get all the 'to do' lists properly organized.

Not only will I be organizing everything over the next days, most threads will be being moved from the SLs forums to the Public forums. Everyone will get to read about the early planning, how it went who said what and so on.

Hopefully, with these changes, everyone will feel the right to contribute to MSI.

YOU ARE A PART OF MSI

Scripting Leaders maintain the include and make sure everything goes to the right place; (It takes some practice), but this is no reason to not contribute.

SRL Developers have never stopped you from posting in the SRL public SVN forums, have they? Nor do we ;)

The end
I fail at finding a correct way to end threads nowadays. So here it is. I hope this answers some questions and rightens some wrongs.

MSI Team,

Oh, good post. I was a little confused about this, actually.

Beneficial to more than just casual people ;)

This is what I am looking forward to the most. Thank you sir.

I should have asked this when we talked, but I don't understand your example. Are you just writing a script using the MSI core, but it won't actually be added to MSI?

Nope;

I'll basically be developing the 'MSI Fisher' (and other things of course), and whoever wants to help develop it is more than welcome to team work :) It's just that since I need a fisher I have a big incentive to focus on this part of MSI.

I'll help out with it, if you would like my help.

Everyone is welcome to help :) More heads think better than one. There's a few things I still need to take care of before starting with it, but feel free to go ahead to start it, (or not), and I'll hit you up on msn whenever I get the time to contribute :)

Oh, when I asked if it was going to me added to MSI I was more or less asking if it would be in MSI. I was getting the impression that you were developing a separate script that had something to do with MSI. I didn't know you meant you were going to actually develop the MSI Fisher. :p
