Im getting that when I try to compile a script using objects.simba
Any Help? Thanks!

Guessing: Did you copy the reflection smart plugin?

Is there one?

Did you place "{.loadlib libsmart}" somewhere?

Haha yah Ben just created the new one last night to meet my needs. Not sure if it is uploaded.

?? Pretty obvious it's not uploaded as neither of you did..

The newest SMART is usually at http://bland.no-ip.org/files/Public_SMART.dll
BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS BUILD IT FROM SOURCE SINCE ITS OPEN SOURCE.
IT HAS A NICE MAKE FILE AND EVERYTHING
JUST `make both` OR `make windows` OR `make linux`
Sheesh.

SmartGetFieldInt also works, dont forget to change te TTile's to TPoint.
Got it running at my pc!

My wrong, it will always return 65535 as ID with this solution if there is a object.

Yah getFieldInt doesnt work because Object ID's are shorts :)

How can he cross-compile? It's good practice to always build a binary at least for the Window users. ;)

So I'm confused… Is there a solution to this or not because I'm still having the problem.

Download the file from benland and place it in plugins.

I guess you have to rename the file to Embedded_SMART.dll

thats because it should be renamed to: libsmart.dll! Save it over the older one.

Mine's name is Embedded_SMART.dll… It all depends on how you are importing it in your script i guess.

  {.LoadLib Embedded_SMART}       

Just make sure you are loading the right one (whatever yours is named).

Uploaded the new dll to the SRL SVN..

Why do we keep changing the plugin name :P It's named Embedded_SMART, publicsmart, smartlib, smart…. We need to pick one name and stick with it.
