Before you come here and read this thinking its a big thread about something in particular, Sorry its not. I'm just putting my thoughts in text to allow others to give some input along with organization purposes.
Anywho, I just came back from a long break due many RL issues that was definitely not planned. I'm trying to catch up and learn what I missed both on the autoing scene and updates in runescape.
So.. theres several things I want to do, I prefer to write my own scripts for most things both as a personal amusement and to further improve my abilities. So there may be very good scripts out all ready for some of these purposes, either way its on my todo list.
First off, I am trying to catchup on changes within srl, along with reflection.
I pulled the latest revision of reflection from http://blanddns.no-ip.org:81/repos/reflection/ and it seems to be poorly finished up, probably due to lack of sleep? Anyway I either am missing the correct version or need to rework it/rewrite it before starting a lot of my plans.
To get back used to scripting (And test Simba) I plan on starting slow again before stepping up to more lengthy serious scripts so heres some things I had on my mind:
Guild Fisher, Most of my slaves are in their upper 80s fishing (85-88) so this would be easy and have a pretty good advantage. I'm sure theres probably over 9000 ones out all ready though.
Ivy Cutter, I noticed I have my old main at 94 wc so this would be a fast way to finish it up and again, staying simple to get back into the hang of things.
I also am rather confident in my abilities still so possibly going to a slightly more serious script such as:
Agility Course runners, cause who likes training agility? Seriously.
Yak killer, haha got to keep the slaves combat decently high to look more legit and this is a very easy option but its a start into a more serious area of scripting.
And some long-term goal scripts I had on my mind is…
Runecrafting guild minigame, cause it'll be an amusing challenging script to perfect.
And I dunno, I'm just getting back into Runescape myself so always up for suggestions.
What do you guys think would be a good script/project to work on? What scripts would you like to see on my todo list? What is actually needed? Help me brainstorm :cool:
