everything is updated smart wont open. anyone have a solution?

Umm, Move plugins maybe?
Should be a folder in your SRL called 'Place in plugins folder' or something like that, so put the files in that folder in your SCAR plugins folder.

Not sure if that's the proper fix though.

already did that, can't think of what the problem could be?

All I can say now is make sure to follow this 100% correctly, even delete everything and start from scratch if you must.

Also, might be the script, what script are you using, show it to us? (Make sure to bleep out any passwords you may have in there)

I set it up for him through TV, and it should've worked, but it doesn't. :<

Has he got Java installed? Try moving the plugins by hand.. And else, I've got no clue whats causing those problems o.O.

I did move them by hand. And yes, he has Java installed. Oh, something that I've noticed is that there are only two .dlls for Simba since.. awhile ago. And so I wasn't sure if that was still right? Since your guide says there should be three..

Nah, two should be fine :).. Uhm, I'm kind of in the dark about what would cause this..

As am I. I just set everything up again, doing exactly what I did for him and it works. :/

Using Vista or Win7? Tried running as admin? Also check your security settings. Turn off User Account Control (or whatever they call it… :P)
See if any of those helps

Win7, I've set it up many times with Win7, XP, and Vista, Yes, ran as admin, there's no UAC, and everything should work. :/

It should be called libsmart.dll…

libsmart is Simba, EmbeddedSmart is SCAR because Smart was modified to make it significantly faster than the SCAR version.

either way i moved all plugins, not only the simba plugins and it seemed to work fine after that?
