Pretty unique stuff, called 'Beat Hip Hop', guys not super well known yet, but apparently he soon will be, Thom Yorke of RadioHead features in one of his songs, and apparently really like's the guy too.

Yeah it has its ups and down, but overall I like most of the tracks, it really cool sounding.
Ehh, nothing too close to that track that I can think of, but I listen do a wide variety of stuff.
Metronomy and RatATat both also make awesome beats, nothing as trippy as that, and much more simple, but they do make really good stuff, check them out too.

One of my favorite things about music is the lyrics…without them, my brain just gets irritated by all the different noises.

Dude they're super well known. They made the beat for Cudi's Pursuit of Happiness too, so if you haven't actually heard one of their songs, you've probably heard what they sound like.
