I forgot my flash drive at the library. Called them a few days after. They never found it. Dumb ass kids saying "Hey theres a flashdrive! I'll take it and never use it or just stuff it in the drawer!"
No backups of my latest work.
That means I can't update any of my android apps because the keystores (unique key that I use to compile my apps.) were on there. They can't be remade… And if I make and compile a new version with a different keystore, I can't upload it because of the different signatures.
I literally lost over $1000 of intellectual property probably…
I still am selling copies of my stuff today…
It was the karma though… I was a total douche that day.

You should know never to use a pen drive as a storage device. Its a device to move stuff about, not store stuff.
You silly! And yeah, I doubt you make that much dude, no offense..

Sorry to hear! :(
I hate when stuff like that happen :(
I think I'll make a backup just incase something like this happens to me.. :P
I didn't say I make all that $ at once… I've sold over $600 in the past half year. Those programs are still selling, and I had a few unreleased projects on there also. So thats why I estimated that number.
And I move between my dads and moms alot, and I usually don't know if I am going to my dads or moms on a school day, so I don't want to plan on working, then end up going to my dads and be like. Great, I can't work on it…
If I only stayed at one place, I wouldn't ever use a usb drive.
And thanks for the support everyone.

This happens to me all the time.
And I would like to take this time (before Karma gets me) to say, that I did this for the first time ever a few days ago :/
I am going to return it tomorrow!

Keep it somewhere online ;)
I'll usually have a copy of my current works somewhere on my gmail, and a copy of pretty much everything backed up on my HD.

:( I know how you feel. I just lost my flash drive a few days ago as well. Lost all my papers for my English class.
Sorry dude. I bet if you email google and ask for them to get you the same codes they will do it. Google is pretty awesome like that. Just prove to them you are who you say you are.

I don't see why you're getting upset. I realized it was for him, you quoted him. You seemed to have a mild case of confusion surrounding the issue of him saying "I'm sorry to hear that".

Honestly man.. all that crap was you. You said it, you gave no reason, it was off topic, no ones knows what you're talking about.
@Zasz, I'm making a backup of my flash drive now. Thanks for the lesson :)

I have to agree with RM. Keep it online somewhere, there is this program called Gmail drive
http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm when you install it, it shows a seperate drive in your "My computer" called gmail drive, which you have to link to your gmail account and you get like 8gb of storage (or however much gmail allows you to store).

Hmm. It looks and sounds like a great program, although I downloaded and installed it and I can't seem to get it to log in no matter what I do. :S Going to mess around with it a bit and see. If it's working for others it has to work for me eventually.

I had this problem too, what you have to do is right click the gmail drive, go to properties and when the dialog box comes up click the "More" button then check the checkbox that says "Use secure HTTP"
That should fix it.
