This is directed at all those who would have the knowledge on how to fix reflection; Meaning hooks, reading the client, converting java to PS and whatever else might be needed.
The staff is willing to give reflection more support than in the past. But this support has to be mutual.
What am I on about?
There's a number of things, structure wise, that could be done for reflection to fit better within these forums.
But this also means that reflection would have to be up to standards with the rest of the SRL forums.
And what does this mean..?
There was a post about how there was a lack of willingness to spoon feed people. Well, SRL has been spoon feeding for years, and it seems to have worked rather well. There's tutorials on how to bank, when we could've just said "Read Banking.scar". There's tutorials on what a variable and a type are; People could've just been linked to some other online tut. There's step to step tutorials on how to make woodcutters. We could've just said "look through WCing scripts". But we didn't.
So, for anyone who is knowledgeable, and willing to do this sort of thing, let me know. Shoot me a PM with your MSN.
I want someone who will take care of reflection as their own little pet project. Perks would probably include something along the lines of moderatorship in reflection forums and owner rights over reflection svn.
What would your goal be?
Your goal would be that in a month from now I would be able to go through the reflection tutorials and after having read all of them I'd know how to find the hooks I need.
Two months from now, if I also put some further effort into learning java, I would know where to find the algorithms I need, (and given I had done my java homework) convert those into pascal script.
Three months from now, with still some more java work on my own (with the links you provided) I would be able to make my own updater.
Do these goals sounds far-fetched? I don't think they're too far-fetched. Seems to me like they'll involve quite a bit of work, but nothing impossible.
So, for those willing, PM me.

There's a number of things, structure wise, that could be done for reflection to fit better within these forums.
- 1st step was to have it standing on its own forums rather than under smart forums.
- Reflection Developers might get their own forums, which would allow for sharing of the precious things they do not want leaked, such as updaters.
- More recognition.
- More SRL developer interaction - As many have heard, SRL 5 is on the works, and reflection could be written to match SRL 5 standards, as long as reflection devs know what these standards are.
- [Insert further ideas here]
But this also means that reflection would have to be up to standards with the rest of the SRL forums.
