SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

The mining guild is absolutely full in so many worlds..
There's at least three propper mining guild scripts that I know of:

RM Guild Miner
Sexy Guild Miner
KBot Guild Miner

All of these seem to work extremely well, and as a result the guild is full :'(

I'm sure bans will come soon enough. Not many people seem to be able to control themselves when autoing in the guild and just go all out on it.

Haha apparently you weren't too involved in RS cheating a few years ago. ;) I wouldn't really go looking for RSDemon or Aryan anymore, by the way.

RSDemon was private and owned by some chinese company whose business was pretty much based on RS. You can compare Aryan and RSBot tho. But Srl/Scar we were always unique and we respect the game…

But I am pretty sure Jagex will come up with a way to null these Java bots.

I believe the point was to compare "now" with "a year ago when RSDemon raped RS". The point is that they aren't the same. Not even close.

But to be on topic, I haven't opened RS for.. 6 months? Someone give me a perspective?

^ There are a few botters. Not much more to say. It's not even bad, I don't see the big deal.

Jagex effectively killed efficient RWT, so I don't think they have to worry about any more mass rapeage of the game. Botters will always be around, but… Jagex doesn't have to worry as much anymore.

In the last month the guild went from having one or two quiet botters to having 10 guys fighting for one rock.

Then pay for members :P Jp, thats kind of a waste of money IMO. But yah I went in the guild yesterday planning on making a script for it, and climbed back up the ladder as soon an i went down and saw everyone :S

Protip: RS has always had tons of bots.

Even in RS1 nearly everyone botted, if not stats or money they used staking/pking bots. Then of course after RS2 was released and RSC remained open there was barely anyone not botting… Every half decent spot had bots at it. Then in the beginning of RS2 it was calmer for a while but then came aryan and after that the chinese goldfarmers and some random bots and after the worst update ever when they killed merchanting, free trading, pvp, staking and all other strong points that grindfest had it got calmer again with the bots, but now there's once again tons and tons of botters roaming around..

It's really Jagex's own fault that there are so many people cheating, as they designed the game to focus so much on grinding irritating and simple tasks (although in the beginning they didn't have too much resources, money or staff, and I doubt they had any clue how popular the game would be either), and they can't really do anything about the massive flaws in the whole concept now when they have tons of players. Now when all pvp activities have been wrecked and merchanting turned into pyramid scams and price manipulation the only goal seems to be getting skillcapes, and most people (like me) just don't have the time nor willpower to grind something for hundreds of hours to get them so they rather bot.

I highly agree with the second paragraph. I remember when those updates came out, they killed many of the forums I was active in. Now if you go to one of them, it just links straight to runescape. There are still ways to transfer gold, but its not as easy now.

Every update that has come since 2007-2008 has sucked. From the beginning of GE.

hmm…i looked through rsbot forums and many of their account are botting for over 8 hours straight, some even 24/7. I'm scared to even do 5 hours yet they (some) still dont get ban…

Jagex will sometimes hold bans off for up to 6 months. Remember that ;) You may think you're safe, but there is no guarantee when automating.

yea i can agree with that. as soon as my pure got 99 mage, the next day, BAM! got banned. so cruel…
