Request regarding reflection.

This forum is being 'spammed' with hooks for different RS versions.. However to me it seems inefficient to post the hooks in a thread on SRL. Just 'goddamn' commit them to the Reflection SVN. That is the whole reason we got a SVN in the first place, isn't it? So we don't all have to manually update our hooks/scripts etc.

People will not start using reflection until someone releases new sauce and hooks for TileToMainScreen. I doubt uploading the hooks would do any good.

It would at least allow us to use the working parts of reflection, without having to worry about manually updating the hooks.

I don't see why no one bothers to commit the hooks.. I guess it's the whole reason why Reflection never worked out @ SRL

That or the lack of people with the knowledge to develop the Java side of it.

I didn't know anyone could commit it? Don't you need the user/pass?

I always thought there were "Reflection Devs".

i thought srl devs were reflection devs, someone has to have been commiting all the stuff to the repository, i think j_pizzle does that, not sure though.

So do you, last I checked…

Seems like lots of people have commit access, I'm willing to add more as needed as well.

FYI: I was kicked from the SVN for over-developing.

Now, you won't even post for fixed version of TileToMS… is it because someone hurt your feelings?

Anyways, what if I don't have all of the needed hooks for walking, animations and so on? If I were to commit some hooks, and another person were to commit some other hooks and another person… too many revs for one rs update?

Also, I can't commit to the reflection svn.

It doesn't really matter how many revs per RS version there are.. if each person is making one commit, it barely is any effort those who already even know how to get the hooks.. Also, rev count is pointless. It doesn't matter how many revs you have. If anything that shows a lot of devlopment activity, which is a good thing.

About you not being able to commit, I believe Nava can take care of that? Just shoot him a PM.

You were kicked because you developed terrible code that was illegible and in general, miserable. Kid, feel free to stop trying to get pity where its not deserved.

Also, I added TRiLeZ to the dev reflection, I assume everyone was using that anyways.
