Simba on Mac!

See http://villavu.com/wiki/Simba_on_Mac - A not so sexy wiki page for Simba on Mac.

Remember, everything helps, and even if there's not a huge market for autoing on mac, if we can get a thousand people (which is a tiny portion of all mac users) it will be very worth it etc.

GOGO, COMPILE IT AND POST RESULTS!

That is not the same. That is using WINE. ss23 means compiling Simba natively for the mac. It'll be quite a task, but once I get my hands on a Mac I can probably do it.

Yeah, Virtualbox didn't work for me either. VMWare is not in the repos so I don't want to install it. :p And it's not FOSS either.

Afaik after looking it up a few weeks ago to try myself, OSX86 doesn't work inside any VMs completely outside of emulating a PowerPC one. If you have a spare hard drive you can do a proper install with it though (it uses the Mac partition table format, so you'd have to wipe everything first assuming you did it the MBR way.) I was considering doing it, but at the very least I'll wait until I get out of school in a couple weeks :)

VMWare worked for me with a few settings changed and a network modification…
