Does anyone else do this? I just realized that it would make autoresponding a million times easier because the number of things people can say to you are so limited!
I'm not even sure if you can say other people's names.

Wasnt there already a discussion about this on some other thread?
I've thought about making a responder to work with the quick chat messages and releasing here as I haven't seen another one. Something always seems to come up though.
It does seem like a more legitimate looking way to auto though.

QC worlds = more likely to get banned autoing as i have experienced in the past.

It's the same as alching or fletching in a pvp world in edgy bank. No-one will see that you are autoing, as players can't really see who is doing what (right click and you select 10+ ppl)

Yeah yeah, lots of threads about this have been made, and there are also tons of differnt quickchat scripts made, not sure if using QC in a QC world would be any better than just using QC in a regular world, I mean, as long as you respond it should all be ok. (Not sure if there is a working QC in SRL, pretty sure there is though)

if you have an auto responder, it wouldn't make a difference. because qc worlds are ideal for autoing, people go there to 'bot hunt' for lack of better words. I may have done this a few times before i became a member of this community

Lol! Good to know though :)
Sorry if this has been brought up in discussion before, I had never heard it mentioned.

When I was at RSbot we had an auto responder and it was like an include rather then in the script itself. Some people put there personal auto responders in there own scripts. Might actually still have it laying around ill look for it.

This might be drifting away from the original topic a bit, but wouldn't it be smart (for SMART :p) to check for the most optimal autoing world? I mean if there are 500 people on a trade world and 500 people on a pest control world, it is much more likely that the pest control world will be less populated because people are participating in the minigame. The same goes for all minigame specific worlds, dueling, etc.
And to me, less populated = less chance of being reported. Although as bionicle pointed out, in the case of QC worlds the opposite occurs because it is the optimal place to auto. As well as certain scripts that camoflage well in large populations (alching, fletching).

Wouldn't this be the same as just basically using the world switcher to log into a specific world? Check which world to use and then make SMART load and switch to it.
Imo best place to auto is when there is either no one or a huge mass(G.E. etc)

@Tim0suprem0
Well we do have WorldSwitcher.scar which can switch worlds based on all of that stuff, just not sure if its working currently.

Ahh thanks Yohojo, I'm more than a little rusty on SRL sorry. Totally forgot about Worldswitcher, which would do exactly what I was talking about (provided it works).

I like to auto on distant foreign country servers. That way i can just pretend not to understand what people are saying to me.
Also those tend to be the ones with the least players too.

Anytime I see someone who doesn't respond to me, I AUTOMATICALLY think they auto… even though I use pvt chat and pub chat friends when I auto. It's just the way it is. I think if there is an autoresponder it would deter a lot of stuff. People are stupid enough to think it's a human if you respond saying "hi sorry im busy" with mistakes and stuff.
