I just found something called Hide-My-IP.

Now I can download it, but I only get a three day trial =/

Anyway, if anyone else could download this and see if it would hide my IP from Jagex, that would be great =)

Well… it does work… it's called a proxy.. there are many free programs out there that does the same thing. But jagex see a ip (might no be yours)anyways, and if a lot of people uses the same ip.. jagex will get suspicious.

There isn't that much point of using a proxy unless you're bypassing the school's firewall against some sites… which you can simply bypass with a Http CGI proxy…

bascially the idea is to route your packets thru a random person link your self.

So you will become part of a network where people will use your computers internet connection at times for their requests while you use other peoples.

Basically they doubles internet traffic and increases ping times.

But it makes you untraceable and anonymous. Which is the entire point isn't it?

If you run Firefox i advise getting this its a proxy management program Works great.. Then download a copy of either Tor OR find a list of proxies to use
