and Ejj's program has at least 95% placement rate, I'd might even venture to say 100% (mine does) But congrats, I know nothing of ucla, but it's probably pretty good.

E: yup, 100%

That is fking amazing, I'm very proud of you. UCLA and UC Berkeley are THE two top UCs and very hard to get into! I have two friends who go there :].

If you don't mind telling how was your GPA and SAT scores?

Thanks! I am a transfer student from community college. I completed all the prerequisite courses for Electrical Engineering with a 4.0 (you can't get higher than that in college since they don't use +/-). Had to work extremely hard to finish all this, and the general education requirements, and keep a 4.0 all in 2 years. I will have junior standing when I transfer. I also applied to uc Berkeley, still waiting for their decisions…they come out on 4/30. Getting in from high school is pretty much impossible, you need to get a perfect gpa, take all the ap classes possible, get a near perfect score on the sat, and find the cure for super cancer. Transferring is the way to go these days :)

Haah, yeah I'm very familiar with JC transfer, in fact I'm doing the same.
So I'm guessing you just followed the IGETC and assist.org ? (Familiar with those)
And damn 4.0 with the Electrical Engineering prereqs that's insane, awesome!

How did you manage to fit a major that requires so many prerequs into just two years?
How many units did you take per semester/quarter?

I'm on my 2nd semester of JC, have about 28 units so far :]. Planning to transfer to UC Davis.

I finished IGETC and all the prereqs by taking 4-5 classes each semester, and taking classes during winter and both summer sessions. I really crammed everything in to get it done on time, but it turned out to be worth it. I literally had no life at all the past 2 years, i've just been studying 24/7.

I wish I could just study and focus hardcore like that :/, like most people I get distracted easily etc.

Anyways… :] awesome, and great job maintaining a freaking 4.0 through all of that, UCLA is a wonderful accomplishment, and your hard word really did pay off!

Congratz man! Which community college did you go to? I am going to Fullerton CC right now, and should have been transfering after this summer too but I never sent any transcripts or applied for transfer (I'm a fricken idiot).

I was gonna apply to UCLA but it is a bit of a drive for me and I already moved out to california from South Dakota and would rather not move again just to go to UCLA.

I'm going to apply to CSU: Fullerton and Cal Poly: Pomona.
