Ehm, so what do you guys think about the website? I know the design isn't brilliant, but I was hoping you'd have some suggestions for the actual content of the site. (site: http://wizzup.org/simba/ )

well the content i believe is fine, but like you said, the actual appearance is sorta lacking. especially the What is Simba? section.

content wise, maybe add a tutorial on how to set it up and such? idk overall, the content is fine

I know it doesn't view correctly in IE, but personally I think that's a good thing… ;)
The idea was to keep it a semi-clear website, so not too much distracting images and colours, but the current site is perhaps a bit _too_ plain. :)

That would be nice, if it isn't too much time. Uhm, no guarantees that it will actually be used, though. :)

Under the documentation heading, maybe make "Wiki" a link to the Simba Wiki. I know there's a Wiki heading, but it would just be convenient.

When you have bullets (such as in "What is Simba?") as sub headings, you should indent what's under each heading. It would just look nicer, imo. :)

You're right, the overall look of it needs work, but sometimes it's not necessary to have an overly flashy website.

Everything else looks awesome to me. :)

Center the body text, get someone to do gfx (competition?) for navbar & logo, add a background gradient. Add a getfirefox link. (We all know freedom isn't very free?)

Perhaps we can link to Freddy1990.com and he can link back to us? Pros: increased traffic and pagerank for each of us.


EDIT: Just a side thought here, has anyone made 'Powered by Simba' banners?

There's no ``team'' in Freddy1990, as Timer stated. I doubt this is worth the effort. Most traffic that goes to freddy1990 is directly from villavu.com anyway. (And so is Simba's, I doubt it will make a difference)

I like the basic layout of the website and the fact that it isn't overly flashy. The only thing that I think would be nice to add is a tutorial on installing it on the website itself or a link to the tutorial in the forums. Other than that it is a nice site.

It's alright. I like using drupal over anything else. It's a little basic for my liking. But simple sometimes is the way to go.

It links to it indirectly I suppose. (The documentation has something on installing it, I think)
