SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

Hola, this is my first real script for a while now(if at all, :p), and its an Al-karid tanner.

known bugs:
- some timing stuff, its not bad but it slows the script down.
its only slow when: just opening the bank, this is in SRL. and finishing a path, it waits till your character is compleatly stopped, then some to make sure

- sometimes the r_fflag messes up if you lag, causing the script to mess up and making your character turned to false, and logged out

instructions:
-have enough coins in inventory for the whole script, i currently have no failsafe for this, since its not important

-start in bank or in tanner building

-have your hides in the first bank spot, and the tanned hides in the same tab

- declareplayers

features:
-tans cow hides, green hides, and black hides in al-karid

-srl-stats

-Multi player

-Anti ban

-REFLECTION

like i said, this is my first script for a while, and i may be off on my technique :) feel free to give me any feedback, like "you suck, never script again" or (hopefully) tell me how to make it better

Yay im in the credits! Anyway, looked through the script fast, looked nice and clean. This is P2P right? You should add normal hides (cow hide stuff) that F2P can use it too :)

all you need to do is change the tp := point(90, 227); in the Do_Tan procedure to what ever coord you need in in the tanning-shop screen. im making dinner atm so i can add it later. :)

Ok, ill wait until you have done it, i have to get some hides also first, and im gonna go to sleep soon but ill test tomorrow. (In 8 hours or so :D)

I was wondering how many loads / hour you manage to do manually and how many with the script?

what crafting level do you need to be to tan green hides, and how much xp do you average/hour with the script?

the script does a little more than you would if you are really tired/ bored, because of the waits between the flags when walking. i would rather have waits then having the script continue before you actually stop walking

@kevin you dont need any lvl or gain any exp. although you do gain about 100-200 gp per hide tanned. :)

:< I bought 5k green d'hide but for some reason, I get false positives on FindMod.

i will test as soon as i get 99 wc(im lvl 98 with 900k xp till 99!)

It withdraws the cowhides and walks out of the bank. Then it says player got lost and stops. I can't get it to go past that. :(

seems to walk ontop of the man about 25% of the time for me causing it to not tan. also walks west of the bank before banking often.

this should be great with some more work!

thats because of my color picker failing, once it gets past that step is will ususually be good for a while, :)

@payton, thats really weird. maby your screen is set to resizable, or something else? because the script should figure out that the guy is underneath you, thus moving the mouse over your guy, right clicking and tanning. as far as the walking, its the best i can do atm, seeing as my ddtm fail after the first few hours :(

-fixed ddtms (for now anyways). much more accurate walking. still sometimes bugs out, and it sometimes doesnt fix itself =\

- made walking faster

- changed other random crap, forget what but i made it better ;)

if this is as fast as my calculations, this makes ~300k/h. idk about the other scripts :p

oh snap 300k/hour is awsome for a script, i gotta check that. if it does make that, it will be faster money than the other scripts, so best money is green d hides?

Short proggy for now it got lost by walking into the palace where the guards are.
I will get a longer proggy when i have enough money to buy lots of hides.

so the person can run longer/ more. :)

and i'll look into it running into the palace

updated, fixed walking bugs.. it should get "lost" far less times, and if the script does get off-course, it will (usually) fix itself

future updates:
- form
- multi-player
- aprox hides + profit/hour
- svn updating?
- painting when using SMART?

this could have lots of potential, if i get good feedback :)

Don't have it look for the cactus because that is now gone with the dungeoneering update.

o lol my apologies :P Well i've been running it and i can't seem to get a long run ( I bought 2k cowhides). It seems to get lost by not exactly clicking inside the tannery but in the house with the furnace or above the tannery.

every time he runs into the furnace building, or above the tanner, he usually gets back into the tanner, or finds the tanner from where he is. post a picture of his position when he gets lost, so i can edit it better :)

I get this error when i try to run:

Invalid world number or corrupted world list. Please review your settings

commited a new rev. its because i closed the form before i set the SMART world, so it would be invalid

Ok so it logs in nicely, withdraws hides from the bank, goes to the tannery, finds the guy, clicks on him but then when it opens up the option screen for the different hides it doesn't know what to do. It will hover over the blue hide icon then just go up to the sentence at the top that says "What hides would you like to tan?" I think. I was trying to make soft leather but ya that's what happens.

it must not notice that its in the shop screen, :\

Are you going to be updating this because i have a bunch of cowhides sitting in my bank and i believe this is a great way to make easy money. :P

hmmm, the script takes the cowhides out of the bank, but then it logs out? What should i do to fix this ;) Couldnt find anything ont he search option of the forum :(

actually, with reflection, i'm able to cut down about 80% of the code lol. along with im removing the form, since its pretty much useless :p

my biggest problem before was the walking, and now its perfect

ok, i got the script as good as its going to get, until i get some feed back and ideas :)

This script is very efficient so far from what I can tell, it hasn't failed in 20+ banks, so that is good, the only thing I can see wrong with it, is it seems to click the same tiles every time on the walk to and from the tanner.

Is there any way to make some kind of random tile function or something? To where it walks randomly to one of 4 or 6 possible tiles? I think that adding that would greatly reduce the ban possibility due to the fact that it would be way less obvious ya know?

I am really thankful that you did update this script though, as I have been waiting on it :D Thanks SO MUCH man.


EDIT: It doesnt walk the same path every time, my bad, but it walks one way more than the other, I still think that adding a few more points to choose from would greatly enhance this script.

EDIT EDIT: It also seems to every so often try to bank the hides two times, but i can try and adjust the speed just a tiny bit to fix that i suppose, no real biggie there

yeah, i can make the randomness bigger :)

you can do it yourself, go to the A_WalkPath function, and find

mouse(tp.x, tp.y, 1, 1, true);

change the 1, 1 to anything you want. the first number is x, the second is y, and the measurements are in pixels :) i would go with 3, or 4, and just so you know, 4 pixels = the width of one tile on the minimap

get rid of the waits in the banking procedure, but find the R_DepositAllButIDExEx function, its near the top. in there, increase the wait

wait(150 + random(150));

i would change it to

wait(650 + random(350));

if thats to much, decrease the 650

Yes. The only reason is says "enable" in the pics is since I had to hit disable to get the mouse to stop moving because it would log me out.

I don't think so. I mean I KNOW your script works fresh outta the DL because weskir is my mate and it worked out just fine for him. I tried your script at LEAST 10 times though and it just instantly logs out.

I can use other scripts just fine, so I don't know what the deal is. Maybe I will attempt again after this next upload haha.

Mister Snow: For some reason, the SMART window you're using makes it seem like you don't have the window size at fixed. Can you check on that setting for me?

As of the script.. Idk how to make money from dragonhide tanning atm, because I can't seem to find anybody selling dragonhide for me to tan into d-leather.. weird but that's alright. I'll wait for your next better version to try again with dragonhide tanning.
