Nothing, you just have an outdated version of SRL. ;)

E: You also need scar 3.23 not 3.22.

Yes, Simba is required to use the reflection part of MSI. SCAR should work fine for anything that doesn't require walking.

Navigate to your SRL folder (the one that contains the core, misc, and skill folders), and create a new folder ~ MSI.

I was thinking about this and I think it would be better if you just had it placed in the Includes folder not in a sub directory of SRL. This way when you update SRL via extension/svn it doesn't delete the MSI file and visa-versa for the MSI folder.

An extension hasn't been made for this yet. (And it could be) With an extension either/or could be deleted while updating. Plus I think it would look nicer and be more convenient in the includes folder instead of being a sub-directory.

Seeing as it's not actually part of SRL, it would make sense for it to be in the includes, like the new reflection is. I don't think it's a bad idea.

Same here. In a way MSI is not part of SRL, not as an include anyway.

I'm not against it being outside of the SRL folders.
Although, the thought of MSI also being possible to be downloaded with SRL has crossed my mind a few times.

The way I had first pictured MSI was the sort of thing where SRL Members would contribute and we'd have a cool script to share and so on. The truth is, the way it's been growing, both community and code wise it could come to be so integrated in the community itself that it would just simply be an obvious thing to get the two from once.

It seems to me that someday, (not too soon, not too late), MSI will be so expanded and reliable plus the idea that it would be mostly community made (after all we're very much moving into the sort of modularity that allows us to just pluck scripts, pluck features and so on) that a person would come onto SRL and already had heard of MSI before.

Some scripts reached this sort of fame, (more in the older days when RSBot and the other 999 java (often leecher based) weren't around), namely Wizzup's Ess Miner, Sb's Stress Miner, Tara's Chicken Killer and his L.A.M.E script, but nowadays, (from what I glimpsed on some communities) SRL is pretty much looked down on. (Most likely due to us still being color based).
Then again it's this that allows us to remain more of a scripter community rather than a lecher community. And every lecher filled community runs out of blood at some time.

But hopefully, SRL will keep it's leecher -> scripter rate, and MSI might be something very good to bring those people looking for RS $$$ into here.

I thought about that when I was reading your thread about "power" scripts in SRL. I mean, if MSI is going to be a huge success, I don't see why it couldn't be downloaded with SRL, and maybe even have it as a main feature in Simba's script manager.

In MSI's current state, you should be able to add ANY woodcutting script by simply making the records.

Yes but the script stops after the error, it happens just as the script reaches the log in stage on SMART.

That's not an error, there must have been something before that line that caused it to execute or not compile. Look for a line beginning with "Failed to compile" or something along those lines.

There's a list of abbreviations at the top of Globals.scar, and all the scripts are located in the Supported Locations threads in the Skill core sections.

I will add the abbreviations list to this guide, and also links to the Supported Locations threads.

Setup.scar; Remove the following line:

Do keep in mind that this means you will only be able to use the Power Chopper, Power Miner and Varrock east tree cutter.

Alternatively, you can download reflection. ;)

I had installed reflection to (D:\SCAR\Includes\SRL\reflection (1,28 Mb) and in D:\SCAR\Includes\SRL\SRL\reflection (144 Kb)) already. I don't know which one is correct.

I have removed the line as you said.

Then I got this error;
Line 387: [Error] (3978:29): Unknown identifier 'MouseAction' in script D:\SCAR\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\Chat.scar

So I thought I'd update SRL using SCAR's update SRL function. Then I tried to run RunMe.scar again and got this;
Line 270: [Error] (22734:54): Unknown identifier 'GroupDigits' in script D:\SCAR\includes\srl\srl\msi\Debug.scar

The MSI developers no longer use scar, we mostly use Simba and therefore I guess some things just aren't compatible with scar anymore.

Yeah, you're right. The only thing is about reflection is that reflection.sex doesn't seem to be up to date with SVN. So right now, the extension version doesn't work. At least it didn't yesterday.

I thought it was just my virtualpc screwing things up, but tried on my main windows 7 OS and it also gave me the same exact error

Var
TMP: Integer;

No I re-enabled all extensions and downloaded latest versions, restarted simba went (because after I finished with the other extensions I could not use the MSI enabling box) and I still got:

EDIT: Now, I made triple extra sure my extensions are all up to date, and it seems that MSI remote is enabled.

But now, when I go to View/Extensions I can no longer interact with the enable MSI remote box. And I see no MSI remote options.

Final Edit: After re-loading Simba one final time I still received the 1st error that I had reported.

This isn't so much of a question, as a suggestion.

Could you please add a timer? So, just in case I had to spontaneously go do something of run this for 3 hours while I was away, or just simply not wanting it to run more than "x" amount of hours.

Interesting suggestion. I'd like to think what other people think of this. Could you please create a thread in the Bugs, Proggies & Suggestions forum?

Sure! and thanks. I am using a woodcutting script that cuts vines and while using that one is when I thought of it.

I installed MSI in the correct directory, but it still doesn't show up in my extensions. I rebooted the computer twice and restarted Simba multiple times.:

You have to copy/paste the extension to the Simba/Extensions folder. The ReadMe text file in MSI/Extensions should tell you how.

[*]Once you enable the extension, you will notice an MSI menu option in the Simba menu bar. When the MSI script is running, go to MSI > Player Remote and let it do it's magic! :)

you have to set them up your self.

Go to the msi script page there is the woodcutter, miner, and fishing.

You have to set the location, what your going to be getting (tree_willow,Tree_YEW etc.)
and set the script that you want to use.
