So I asked around in IRC about whats the best F2P ranged equipment, and this is what I bought:

Exact name of the boots?

I believe leather boots?

And use addy arrows. If you can afford them, of course ;)

Thanks! :) Why addy thought? Any other reason then more damage? And I think im fine without the boots :D Thought im gonna get the coif.

EDIT: Nobody is selling addy arrows :( I bought 10k mithril instead and put the 10k addy on GE if someone decides to sell.

Gravite shortbow is the best f2p bow now. You need 45 dungeoneering and 90k tokens to get it ;-)

Which will take forever =P

Are the dungeoneering items tradeable?

f2p range training is REAAALLLLY slow!

Just use a maple short with iron arrows, and power range.

^ This. No need to waste that money. Iron will suffice.

Whats the best place to train in then? (Im currently at white knights).

I already bought 10k addy and 10k mithrils and i had 6k steels in bank from earlier training, so i think these will do just fine for now.

Just use iron.

Ok, ill go check it out, is there some sort of wall between or something so i can range without food?

Ill check which place is easier to make a script to (just a findcolor + click = ownage script :))

if making a script there, please add (lvl 39 Crumble Undead) spell, would make magic quite cheap for lower leveling haha :)

You can hide by the wall of rocks, and on the other side. They have okay drops too, bring some high alchs. All the black items add up to some OK cash. I would bring some lobbies as they will attack and be aggressive for awhile but after they stop you will have no issues with food.

Probably the best f2p ranging place IMO.

Yeah i brought lobsters when i visited it :) I was on the top of the hill, i got annoyed when they were too far away, ill try the rocks when i next go train :) thanks for the info :)

If you want to auto it, chickens work just fine, and you can make tons of money off of feathers. Crossbow and bronze bolts are much cheaper than any arrow, so you don't have to worry about picking up either.

I think tara did uhh.. giant spiders or something crawlers or whatever in the SoS. I know giant spiders are pretty good. the crawler things are good as well, and hardly hit.
