I haven't seen anyone on the IRC channel since I've joined, well to be honest I'm not on there much but every time I am there's no one on, what's up with that?

Which IRC network are you connecting to? FreeNode (the old #SRL channel) or Rizon (the new #SRL channel, where there are over 30 people each time you visit, 29 people idling)?

Everyone lives in different timezones, and everyone is up at different times of the day. A lot of people idle. If you idle as well, you might go back to your keyboard when someone says something interesting you can join in with.
