Simba: Extensions!

So, as of now I added the 'final' piece for extensions; so called event-hooks. Basically these hooks are event listeners for certain events. Here's a list of events they can react on:

( (HookName : 'onColourPick' ; ArgumentCount : 3), //const colour,colourx,coloury : integer;
(HookName : 'onOpenFile' ; ArgumentCount : 2), //var filename : string; var Continue : boolean
(HookName : 'onWriteFile' ; ArgumentCount : 2), //var filename : string; var Continue : boolean
(HookName : 'onOpenConnection'; ArgumentCount : 2), //var url : string; var Continue : boolean
(HookName : 'onScriptStart' ; ArgumentCount : 2), //var Script : string; var Continue : boolean; This is called BEFORE it compiles/executes

Basically that means someone can create a Filewall/Firewall now in an extension ;).

Add an alias for onColourPick? Name being onColorPick :p.

Make a wrapper yourself ;)

Pretty much everything in Simba is `Colour'', except for the actual function names.

In that case, wouldn't it be smarter to pick one of the two spellings and stay consistent with it throughout Simba instead of using both?

All scripting in PascalScript uses Color. All stuff internally uses Colour. No issue. :)

Heej, is there an up to date tutorial for extensions.
And is it compatible with Simba?(tutorial)
Program is made in delphi.

There currently is no tutorial, expect for the source files and other extensions. They are to be written in PascalScript, and not in Delphi. Don't immediately start writing it in PascalScript now as that would probably be a waste of time. Why not simply make it a .exe instead of binding it with Simba? :)

It is already an exe, i also posted it in my topic but I was not allowed to reply because I was the last one that replyed so no one knew it was updated..:P
This time the source was included as well.

Does this mean it is just an exe or can it be combined with Simba?

For something like posting an update, feel free to double post.

Just try to keep it down. ;)

Now with Simba's documentation there is a tutorial: http://wizzup.org/simbadoc/simbaref/extensions.html
