Ok, so. I want to bind Local Area Connection 1 to utorrent. (my wired connection) and have nothing else use it. Then I want everything else to use my PDAnet connection (3g USB tether through my droid)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this? The programs auto switch to the other NIC when it opens and I can't figure out how to make them stop.

Will lub you forevers!

I don't have an immediate answer for you, but if you give me a week, I have some networking friends that should know exactly what to do.

Awesome, I guess you still are lurking around huh Esteban? You should come out of the shadows more often :)

Hmm if I get this figured out I will be able to torrent at 2mb/s and then still have my 3g internet from my USB tether with 150kb/s down and 50kb/s up for the rest of my projects. Too bad the ping is so bad on it though. Something like 120ms :S

Dgby, I found that too. but it doesn't want to work. I bind it to the IP of the wired while the wireless is disconnected and it works, but when I reconnect the wireless it seems to just ignore that bind and switches to the wireless again. not sure if that bind is really what we think it is because technically shouldn't it not work at all of it is binded to the wrong IP?
