Someone HAS to figure this out before I chuck my computer across the room

Yeah, so I'm extremely pissed off right now. I can't for the life of me figure out why the f*ck the script isn't dropping Willow logs. To see what happens, log on to Broddi Cohen (pass Jackaster) and run RunMe.scar (Make sure the starting player is 4 for Broddi Cohen), you'll see what happens. Basically it just keeps counting inventories and adding to the proggy without dropping the logs.

I've narrowed it down to a problem in MSI_FindItemSlots in Objects.scar. It is using the right ItemID (willow logs), and the DTM IS FINE! I've tested it by itself, so it works. The pissy function keeps returning -1, when causes it to exit, which causes MSI_PowerChop to not drop the logs, which then repeats due to the main loop.

The function works perfect for normal logs. Log on to Empty Cohen, make sure he has a full inv of logs and run RunMe.scar, and you'll see what SHOULD happen.

PLEASE someone figure this out because I'm 2 seconds from doing something I'll regret. It's late, I have a VERY important hockey game tomorrow and I should be sleeping right now but I'm not because of this f*cking problem.

Sorry for all my language, but F*CK!

Okay I'm done, bye.

P.S. If you figure this out I'll give you whatever you want. Yes, WHATEVER you want.

If there are blow jobs available, I will look at this tomorrow.

Likely causes for a project like this:
  • nests are incorrect.
  • Boolean logic errors comming from different coding styles.
  • SCAR being moronic.

also, sleeep. I want to see you kick brantfords ass tomorrow.

I think it could be to do with ItemInfo.scar when you free the item, it sets the DTM to -1, I should add a FreeDTM to it..

Throw your computer across the room. Just do it. Don't even think about it just do it, go

But it works with Normal logs… literally nothing is different between the two other than the DTM, and the DTM works.

Go to around the 8:50 mark. You'll have to wait for a couple ads to load, but it's worth it, trust me.

EDIT: Alright so I manually picked colors and made a bitmap for willow logs (I used Naums item generator before), and it finds the logs! Yay! That still doesn't explain why it's not finding the DTM thought. But now, it doesn't choose the option. Is ChooseOption not working for anyone?

Even with normal logs the same thing happens.

E2: Alright so back to square one. Nothings working for me again. I'm officially giving up for now. I'll come back to it later if no one else can figure it out. I've committed what I have. Have fun!

E3: Some addition info:

11:31:45 AM: broddi cohen: Entering Func: MSI_CountItems: Found 28 of item Willow logs // Uses CountItems ~ so the DTM is working fine
Item ID: 15 // The item ID used in MSI_FindItemSlots ~ 15 = LOGS_WILLOW
11:31:45 AM: broddi cohen: Entering Func: MSI_ClickItem: Length of L < 0, exiting // Tells us that length of L is -1 which means it doesn't find any logs in any inventory slots

Use WaitOptionMulti and basically, just search for every possible character. Of course, use at least 2 together so you don't end up clicking the wrong thing.

That's what I always have to do, otherwise it never finds it.

If I can find some time I'll look into the dropping problem, but life is killing me right now.

Don't worry about it. Real life comes first. I just have a lot of spare time so I'm able to work on it a lot. :)

Anyway, I'm not sure exactly what I did, but it seems to be working now. Check the ready to test thread for more details.
